Jewel knows how to keep things relatable.
The 49-year-old singer took to Instagram on Sunday, December 17, to jokingly lament about her appearance first thing in the morning.
"I woke up in Las Vegas and realized I hadn't had a drop of alcohol. Despite this, I still looked terrible. It seems that my face always rebels when I'm in Las Vegas, possibly due to the sinful air in the casinos," she joked.
Jewel also admitted that despite her extensive travel experience, she struggles with packing. She confessed, "I'm terrible at it. I managed to forget to pack facial cleanser, despite being 49 years old. How does that even happen?"

Jewel revealed that she made a trip to Vegas to catch U2's performance at the Sphere. She also mentioned her excitement at being in town for the National Finals Rodeo (NFR).
"I'm at this hotel and there are so many cowboys. It's great to see," she said, sharing a short video of a group of men in cowboy hats in her hotel lobby.
"It's like a blast from the past... I spent so many years at the NFR. It's surreal to be here. It's bringing back a flood of memories."
She concluded the video with a heartfelt message to her fans, wishing them a good day and reminding them to take care of themselves during the holiday season, acknowledging that this time of year can be difficult for some people. She finished by expressing her love and encouragement to her viewers.

The singer received an outpouring of support from fans in the comments. One fan wrote, "You always look beautiful, even when tired from dealing with life." Another fan commented, "Please turn the difficult experiences into music."
Jewel made waves recently with photos of her cozying up to Kevin Costner on a Caribbean vacation. According to an exclusive source, the two have been in a relationship for some time now.
"Kevin and Jewel have always held each other in high regard and have always had a great rapport. They have a lot in common and share a love for music, which brought them together," the source revealed.

This romance follows Costner's divorce from ex-wife Christine Baumgartner, which was officially completed in September 2023.
