Jeremy Allen White Unveils His Ultimate Bravo Reality Show Obsession

Shameless star Jeremy Allen White spills the beans on his favorite ‘guilty pleasure’ Bravo reality show, showcasing his secret obsession with the popular series

Jeremy Allen White, 32, surprised fans when he admitted to being a secret Bravo fan during BuzzFeed's "The Puppy Interview" with co-stars Zac Efron and Harris Dickinson from The Iron Claw.

Dickinson, 27, expressed her love for reality TV, calling it interesting. White chimed in, "You can pop in at any time with Below Deck." Dickinson agreed, noting, "Below Deck is amazing with so many seasons."

Efron, 36, gave a fascinating response to the question.

“I can't get enough of The Bear,” he told his fellow actors, referring to White’s Hulu series. White responded with a humorous remark, asking, “Is that a guilty pleasure, Zac?”

Dickinson chimed in to add, “Sometimes I put The Bear on and pretend that Jeremy’s shouting at me.”

White then made it clear he’s happy to yell “anytime” anyone needs him.

The trio portrays the real-life Von Erich brothers - Kevin Von Erich (played by Efron), Kerry Von Erich (played by White), and David Von Erich (played by Dickinson) in The Iron Claw, scheduled for release in theaters later this month.

All three actors have openly discussed the strong connection they developed on set, demonstrated by their playful interactions in interviews.

“I was initially expecting a quiet competition between us men, mirroring the relationship between these brothers,” White stated in an interview with Variety published on Thursday, December 14. “However, Zac surprised me by encouraging us to improve our scene work and being a supportive figure. He was always there to give us a pat on the back and lift our spirits.”

The actors bonded during the filming of The Iron Claw, but Efron appeared to remain in character more than the others.

“Harris and I — we occasionally went out for dinner, or we allowed ourselves a bit of a social life outside of work during that time,” White remarked. “And I’m not entirely sure about Zac. He was incredibly dedicated during that period. I believe that these [Von Erich] men probably felt like they were part of some game orchestrated by their father. I can’t say for certain how much distance Zac put between himself and Kevin throughout the entire filming process, but if I had to speculate, I don’t think he ever strayed too far from character.”

Despite the intensity of the filming process, the actors formed such a deep connection that they’re still friends.

“It was a blast to work with Zac and Harris,” White gushed to Esquire in May.
