With The Valley premiere just around the corner, Jax Taylor is ready to talk about his relationships with the Vanderpump Rules cast, even those who won't be on the new spinoff.
During The Valley premiere party in Jax's Studio City, the 44-year-old shared that he understands why his ex-girlfriend Stassi Schroeder and her husband Beau Clark chose not to be part of the show. Jax and his wife Brittany Cartwright, who are currently separated, had a falling-out with Stassi and Beau after deciding not to attend their wedding. Looking back, Jax now regrets his actions.
"I made a mistake and I want to apologize," he told We in an exclusive interview on Thursday, March 14. "I regret my actions because I lost two important people in my life and Brittany's life."
He went on to explain that various factors, such as the ongoing COVID situation, financial constraints, being new parents, and not having a passport, made it challenging for him to attend the wedding.
Jax reflects on the past and shares that Stassi and Beau felt that The Valley was not the right fit for them. Despite any differences, Jax expresses his love for them and hopes to reconnect with the couple in the future.
He openly acknowledges that they may not have the best relationship currently, but he still cares for them deeply. Jax wishes they could all be friends again and hopes that Beau could visit his restaurant, as he believes Beau would enjoy it. The absence of Stassi and Beau is felt, and Jax expresses a longing for their presence. He recognizes that everyone makes mistakes in life and remains hopeful for the future reconciliation.
Jax confirmed that he and Brittany are separated, but they are still able to coparent and run their business together without any problems. He made it clear that their split was not due to infidelity, despite ongoing rumors of cheating.
According to Jax, the main issue is their lack of communication at the moment. He mentioned that facing challenges in relationships is common and that they are currently taking some time apart to focus on themselves.
Ultimately, it appears that Jax is keeping his options open when it comes to his future with Brittany, as well as with Stassi and Beau. However, his feelings towards Rachel “Raquel” Leviss are quite different. When asked if he would welcome her as part of the cast, his response was direct.
Jax stated, “No, I have no interest in having her involved. Just based on what I see on social media. She should focus on finding a real job. She seems to be avoiding that right now.”
The Valley premieres March 19 on Bravo at 9 p.m. ET and streams the next day on Peacock.

Editor's P/S:
Jax Taylor's candid reflections on his strained relationships with former Vanderpump Rules co-stars Stassi Schroeder and Beau Clark reveal a mix of regret and longing. While he acknowledges their decision not to join the new spinoff, The Valley, Jax expresses remorse for his own actions that led to their estrangement. He recognizes the significance of the bond he once shared with the couple and hopes for a future reconciliation despite their current differences. Jax's admission of his mistakes and his desire to reconnect highlight the complexities of human relationships and the enduring power of friendship.
Jax's separation from his wife Brittany Cartwright also brings to light the challenges faced by couples. While they are able to coparent and run their business amicably, their lack of communication has put a strain on their relationship. Jax's openness about their situation underscores the common struggles that can arise in relationships and the importance of working through them together. However, his disinterest in having his former co-star Rachel "Raquel" Leviss as part of the cast suggests that not all relationships are worth salvaging.
