Jaw-Dropping Subathon Stunt: Streamer Shocks Fans by Shaving Head and Eyebrows!

Streamer pranked during subathon on Twitch, shaving his head and eyebrows Shocked to discover he was tricked into the hilarious stunt

A Twitch streamer participated in a subathon by shaving off his head hair and eyebrows, only to discover later that it was a cruel prank. This unfortunate incident visibly upset the streamer, to the point where he considered ending the stream altogether.

For those unfamiliar, Twitch subathons are marathon-like live broadcasts where streamers continuously go live for an extended period, typically lasting 24 hours or more. The objective of these events usually revolves around seeing how long the stream can last. Viewers who donate or subscribe to the stream often have the opportunity to directly interact with the creator, resulting in high levels of audience engagement. Recently, popular YouTuber and Twitch streamer Kai Cenat organized a massive 30-day subathon known as the 'Mafiathon.'

The Twitch streamer in question goes by the name Lacy and is mainly known for streaming the immensely popular game Fortnite. Lacy had cleverly offered various incentives to encourage viewers to donate Bits, which is Twitch's virtual currency purchased with real money. Among these incentives was the ambitious goal of collecting 750,000 Bits in order for Lacy to shave off both his head and eyebrows. After receiving a substantial donation amounting to $2,500, Lacy stayed true to his promise and shaved off all his hair - only to later discover that the donation had been refunded.

Naturally, this revelation left the streamer visibly upset, feeling deceived into carrying out an irreversible act. As a result, Lacy paused his Fortnite gameplay to contemplate whether to continue with the rest of the subathon. Despite the cruel trick that had been played on him, Lacy made the decision to persevere, demonstrating his determination in what appears to be a highly successful subathon. It should be noted that shaving off head and eyebrow hair may seem like an unusual stunt, but it is not the first time a Twitch streamer has done so. Previously, a streamer named Happy Hob took on this challenge after failing to complete a no-hit run in the game Bloodborne.

To maximize attention, Twitch subathons often feature unconventional elements. During her subathon, streamer ExtraEmily attached herself to a wall using duct tape for up to 24 hours. Each new subscription extended the duration by 30 seconds. Additionally, she incentivized donations and subscriptions by offering activities like throwing water balloons and eggs. As the number of content creators continues to grow, creativity appears to be crucial.

Although it is unfortunate that some viewers donate large sums only to ask for refunds shortly after, Twitch does take action against repeat offenders. Several years ago, an internet troll attempted to refund $50,000 worth of donations to streamers after making false donations. However, their request was denied. Although playing a mean trick on Lacy, hopefully his hair will grow back soon.
