Jason Tartick Contemplates Moving to New York City Following Kaitlyn Bristowe Breakup: What's Next?

Bachelor Nation's Jason Tartick hints at a potential relocation to New York City following his breakup with Kaitlyn Bristowe The couple, who had been together for four years, announced their split in August Stay tuned to see if Tartick's move becomes a reality

Jason Tartick, 35, took to Instagram on Friday, December 15 to share that New York is calling his name after his breakup with Kaitlyn Bristowe. He confessed that living in the city has always been a dream of his, and now it might just become a reality.

The ex-Bachelorette contestant posted a picture of himself in New York City, saying, "Today I explored the city." Hinting at a potential move from Nashville to NYC, he added, "We'll see." Tartick received an overflow of love and good wishes from Bachelor Nation for the possible relocation, including a supportive message from Peter Weber. "Best city in the world," the former Bachelor, 32, commented. Season 20 Bachelorette, Charity Lawson, also expressed her excitement for NYC with a "YAY to NYC" comment.

Blake Horstmann’s partner, Giannina Gibelli, responded to the post with excitement, saying, "Ummmm yes finally." Horstmann, 34, crossed paths with Tartick while vying for Becca Kufrin’s affection on season 14 of The Bachelorette in 2018.

The former castmates have remained close over the years — and Horstmann even spoke out about Tartick and Bristowe, 38, after their August split.

"I've had enough of this nonsense," Horstmann, who is expecting his first child with Gibelli, 30, wrote on his Instagram Story in September after a fan accused him of supporting Tartick. "There are no sides here. These are two friends of mine who put everything into a relationship that didn't pan out."

He continued: "I understand that you may think you're 'helping,' but reaching out to them in private messages or attacking people in the comments doesn't benefit anyone. Let them heal on their own. They don't need your intervention."

One month later, Horstmann made his statement following the confirmation of Tartick and Bristowe's breakup after being together for four years. In their joint Instagram post in August, the exes expressed their sadness and gratitude for the support they received from family and friends as they navigated the emotions and changes that came with ending their engagement.

Tartick, a Buffalo, New York native, proposed to Bristowe in May 2021. Prior to their split, the couple resided in Nashville and shared two golden retrievers, Ramen and Pinot. Recently, Bristowe announced her relocation to Tennessee after ending her engagement.

Today is moving day! Just wanted to give a shout out to my dogs. Feeling a bit emotional today, but as long as I have these two, any place will feel like home!!!! I shared a photo in bed with my pups on Instagram on December 2, and I'm happy to have you all along for the ride with me. (And yes, I'm staying in Nashville.) While Jason seems ready for a fresh start, he reassured his followers that his and Bristowe's dogs will always be in his life. "I'd split time — I'll never leave them! Ever," he commented in response to a fan's question about the dogs on his Friday post.
