Love Is Blind star Stacy Snyder has chosen to address the recent conflict with fellow cast member Johnie Maraist during the season 5 reunion. In an effort to provide clarity and context, Stacy, aged 34, took to Instagram to express her thoughts after the reunion episode was released on Netflix on Sunday, October 15. With the intention of moving forward and leaving the feud behind, Stacy stated that she does not believe she should be negatively portrayed for choosing not to engage with someone who harbors ill intentions towards her.
In the accompanying post, Stacy expressed her anticipation in sharing more details about her feelings of frustration and anger towards Johnie. Both women had a romantic interest in Izzy Zapata during the pods. While Izzy developed connections with both of them, he ultimately proposed to Stacy.
Stacy alleged in her statement that Johnie consistently criticized her as a person and made negative remarks about her physical appearance. She also revealed that during their time in the pods, Johnie told their fellow castmates that Izzy would not be happy with Stacy, and if he chose her, he would face challenges outside of their bubble. Furthermore, Johnie referred to Stacy as the "safe choice" and claimed that Izzy would be disappointed by her appearance during the reveal.
Stacy claimed that some of Johnie's remarks were made in her presence, while others were relayed to her by her friends. She stated that she never directly confronted Johnie and instead concentrated on her relationship with Izzy.
Upon returning to reality, tensions escalated even further. While spending time with their fellow cast members, Johnie accused Stacy of being deceitful for hiding her connection with Izzy. In response, Stacy openly expressed her distrust of Johnie and referred to her as a terrible person.

In a recent Instagram post, Stacy revealed that Johnie had overstepped her boundaries by making a sarcastic comment to Milton Johnson at the party. Johnie had remarked that Stacy was not memorable, which greatly offended her. This led Stacy to respond with snide remarks of her own, something she later acknowledged as inappropriate.
“It's incredibly ironic that I'm being labeled as a bully when, in reality, I see Johnie's actions as highly provocative ... I wholeheartedly urge anyone who feels attacked or diminished to assert themselves," Stacy expressed.
She went on to tag her fellow cast members from season 5, including Izzy, Milton, and Taylor Rue, asserting that they had "witnessed" Johnie's negative conduct and encouraged her to speak out. Co-star Paige Tilly offered her support in the comments, stating, "I'm so proud of you, we all adore you ️️."
During the reunion on Sunday, the drama was brought up. Stacy openly expressed that she and Johnie are not compatible. Johnie, on the other hand, denied intentionally provoking Stacy but admitted to making immature remarks about her and Izzy's relationship.
In the season finale, Izzy decided to marry her partner, while Stacy did not. Johnie, on the other hand, rekindled her relationship with Chris Fox, a fellow cast member, after initially rejecting him in the pods. During the reunion, Chris confessed to betraying Johnie, leading to their breakup.
