Kim Zolciak-Biermann and Kroy Biermann have put their Georgia mansion up for sale, and it is listed for twice the price they originally paid. This family home, situated in Milton, Georgia, is now on the market for $6 million. The property boasts seven bedrooms, eleven bathrooms, an arcade, bar, wine cellar, movie theater, and gym. Additionally, the outdoor area offers a pool, basketball court, and is positioned on the 18th hole of the Manor Golf & Country Club.

Zolciak-Biermann, aged 45, and her estranged husband, aged 38, bought the house in 2012 for $880,000. Zillow reveals that the initial listed price was $3.2 million as of October 3. However, on Monday, October 16, the price was raised to $6 million.

Since November 2022, the Georgia home of The Real Housewives of Atlanta star has become a topic of discussion. Back then, Zolciak-Biermann made it clear that she and Biermann were not facing financial difficulties, and that was not the reason for selling their property.

"Okay, everyone, I need to clarify something here. Contrary to what was reported earlier, my house did not sell for $257,000," she clarified through an Instagram Story. "I want to make it clear that I would never let go of a home that we have invested millions and millions of dollars into for such a low price. It's ridiculous to even think that, honestly."

However, in February, it was confirmed by Us that Zolciak-Biermann and Biermann's mansion was indeed in foreclosure, and Trust Bank intended to auction off the property the following month.

Shortly after, Brock & Scott, PLLC, a renowned law office, revealed that the scheduled auction for the estate was called off without providing any further information regarding the reasons behind its cancellation.

Although the house was temporarily spared, Biermann and Zolciak-Biermann's marriage was not so fortunate. They decided to divorce in May after being together for 11 years.

According to an exclusive insider, the strain of financial obligations has taken a toll on their relationship. It is reported that the couple owes the IRS $1.1 million in unpaid taxes. The insider stated, "The combination of tax debt and other financial pressures has made it challenging. The tax debt was the final blow that led to the end of their marriage."

Zolciak-Biermann's legal troubles made headlines in August when she faced a lawsuit for unpaid credit card bills totaling $156,080.64. Court documents obtained by Us reveal that this amount includes accrued interest, as Zolciak-Biermann allegedly stopped making payments on her HSBC/SAKS credit card.

In addition to her mother's issues, Zolciak-Biermann's oldest daughter Brielle, 26, also found herself in trouble when she was sued by American Express National Bank. Documents obtained by Us state that Brielle allegedly failed to pay off a balance of $12,870.25 on her AmEx card. (Us has attempted to contact Kim and Brielle for comment.)

In that same month, after a brief reconciliation, Biermann made a second filing for divorce. Along with discussing the custody of their four children - KJ, aged 12, Kash, aged 11, and nine-year-old twins Kaia and Kane - the retired NFL player sought permission from a judge to sell their house in order to decrease their debts during the divorce proceedings. (Biermann had also legally adopted Zolciak-Biermann's two oldest daughters, Brielle and Ariana, aged 21, from previous relationships when they got married in 2011.)

Biermann's lawyer, Marlys A. Bergstrom, stated on August 31, "He is requesting that the court order the house to be listed on the market, with the hope of a prompt sale. If the court approves the request, they can enforce it. This would remove control from the involved parties, which is necessary under the circumstances."

In court documents, Biermann contended that by selling the home, it would benefit their children both financially and emotionally. According to him, the sale would generate sufficient income to ensure each child has their own place to live, thereby removing them from the detrimental environment. Biermann asserted in September court filings that his estranged spouse was attempting to prolong the divorce proceedings in order to remain in the Georgia residence for a longer period. Nevertheless, he acknowledged that the property was scheduled to undergo foreclosure in November.

According to court documents, Zolciak-Biermann has expressed a preference for filing for bankruptcy, which would result in the parties and their children staying in the same home for a considerable amount of time. The documents also state that without receiving any equity from selling the marital residence, the parties are unable to afford to move into new homes.

In a separate statement to TMZ in September, Zolciak-Biermann mentioned that the decision to sell the house was a mutual one and asserted that she had provided guidance on what to do with it.
