A creative Pokemon enthusiast recently created an enhanced Mega Evolution for Delphox, giving the Pokemon a stronger and more impressive appearance compared to its original form. Similar to the fan who is combining all the Generation 1 creatures, this project showcases the community's love for the franchise and includes several talented artists.
Mega Evolutions were introduced in the sixth generation of the franchise, through the release of Pokemon X and Y in 2013. These unique forms of existing creatures could be unlocked by players who held special items, and showcased more formidable versions of well-known monsters. Interestingly, these games also introduced Delphox, a Fire/Psychic Pokemon that evolves from Fennekin, one of the generation's starter Pokemon. Therefore, creating a Mega Evolution for Delphox feels like a natural choice, considering it was not possible in the original games.
To address this issue, a Pokemon enthusiast named PhatmonMonstraros took it upon themselves to share their enhanced Mega Delphox design with the community. The revised version stays true to fans' expectations, featuring a similar appearance and color scheme, while exuding a more majestic and wise aura. Instead of the previous wand-like stick, the Fire/Psychic Pokemon now wields a grand scepter, accompanied by a larger presence. It's as if Delphox has graduated from being a mere apprentice magician to a sophisticated sorcerer.
The community was greatly impressed by PhatmonMonstraros' rendition of the Pokemon. One user, HoldAppropriate5252, was particularly astounded by the artist's ability to enhance the original design. They commended the project's success in maintaining Delphox's identity, while adding regal elements like the new scepter. The creator themselves recognized this, explaining that the makeover was intended to infuse elegance that was lacking in the original Delphox design.
This is just one of many impressive examples of Pokemon fan art. Another recent project that caught attention is a captivating human rendition of Litwick. Unveiled a few days ago by a fan, this design transforms the adorable, candle-like Pokemon into an anime girl, while maintaining the original creature's color scheme and a similar shape. Although fan-made human versions of Pokemon are quite prevalent, this particular creation stands out due to its ability to completely reimagine Litwick, which is essentially a candle, into something entirely different.
