On October 26, 2023, the Pumpkin Patch was launched, offering cross-platform play for players. This patch also addresses stability problems and reduces enemy density, resulting in a smoother gameplay. Moreover, the Pumpkin Patch introduces a limited-time event that will continue until November 2, 2023. During this event, players must explore the game world to find six pumpkins, leading to the coveted Pumpkin Helmet.

The table below displays the locations of all six pumpkins, which are scattered throughout Mournstead. After the boss battle, players can begin their exploration to find the pumpkins.

  • This particular pumpkin can be found in the area where the Tortured Prisoner was being kept. In the crypt below, there is a gate on the right. Enter the Umbral and keep going down, then take a right.

Second

  • Warp to the Vestige of Marco the Axe, then go to the village. Next, move to the big tree and take a left to reach the house. There are two enemies here. Kill them and then destroy the nearby crates. The pumpkin is behind them.

Third

  • Warp to Vestige of Valade and go through the door on the right, which will lead to a bridge and a Shuja warrior. Kill the enemy and enter the Umbral to find a ladder on the left. Go up and keep going straight until a bonfire is in sight. There are more enemies here. Deal with them and use soul flaying on the pumpkin.

Fourth

  • To reach this pumpkin, players need the Pilgrim's Perch key. They need to unlock the Vestige of Ferrers the Charred. From there, take the lift all the way down to the perch. Move toward the ladder on the left to reach a wooden bridge. The pumpkin is under one of the platforms.

Fifth

  • The fifth pumpkin is located not far from the Vestige of Loash. Go through the arena, down the ladder, and then inside the Fief beacon tower. Go down and move toward the river. Enter the Umbral and keep walking to the left. Soul flay the barrier and then take a right to find the penultimate pumpkin.

Sixth

  • To obtain the final pumpkin, players need to don the entire armor of the Hushed Saint. Return to the arena where the Hushed Saint boss fight took place. The pumpkin should be clearly visible.

After extracting the soul from the last pumpkin, players will encounter the formidable Spirit of the Bleak Season. Defeating this challenging boss is no easy task, but it is necessary in order to acquire the coveted Pumpkin Mask helmet.

I think it's great that the developers are adding new content to the game, and I'm looking forward to seeing what else they have in store for us.

I also appreciate that the developers are listening to feedback from fans and making changes to the game based on that feedback. The reduced enemy density and improved stability are both welcome changes that will make the game more enjoyable for everyone. I'm confident that Lords of the Fallen will continue to improve in the months and years to come.
