'RHOC' star Heather Dubrow reveals her repeated attempts to forge a friendship with co-star Shannon Beador have been in vain, as Beador remains disinterested in establishing a bond with her

Heather Dubrow may be ready to give up on her friendship with Shannon Beador on The Real Housewives of Orange County. According to Heather, tonight's episode introduces a narrative about her talking about Shannon's relationship, but she claims she has never actually discussed it.

In the August 2 episode, Tamra Judge alleged that Heather was spreading a shocking rumor about Shannon's then-partner, John Janssen. However, Heather clarified to Us that this was not true.

"I am not discussing Shannon's relationship," Heather stated. "Everybody discusses Shannon's relationship. In fact, Shannon herself talks about it the most."

Heather deemed the entire situation as "ridiculous," stating that she had no intention of insulting Shannon behind her back. She questioned, "Why would I do that to her?" Heather emphasized that she and Shannon spent a lot of time together before this season and even in the period between seasons. They would often meet up, have dinner, and enjoy each other's company. Heather cherished their friendship and made significant efforts throughout the latter half of the season to prove her loyalty and mend their relationship. However, despite numerous attempts, Heather sensed Shannon's lack of interest in reconciling.

Shannon had previously disclosed in January that her breakup with John caught her off guard, but they were still together during the filming of the current season of RHOC. In last week's episode, Shannon expressed her displeasure upon discovering that her relationship was a subject of discussion. Heather remains uncertain of the reason behind Shannon's reaction.

Heather addressed the issue, acknowledging the reluctance to have their relationship scrutinized. Nonetheless, she highlighted the distinction between discussing someone and speaking in a negative manner about them. Heather acknowledged that being part of a show where they openly discuss their lives, friendships, and even the lives of others, it is understandable why her friend felt upset.

Heather perceives that Shannon intentionally disregards all attempts at friendship. "She doesn't seem interested in having a connection with me," Heather expressed. "She has no feelings towards me. I genuinely care about Shannon and my only desire is for her to find happiness. That's always been my sole intention."

Despite the fact that Shannon and John are no longer a couple, Heather has no desire to rub it in her co-star's face with an "I told you so." "I'm not seeking an apology," Heather stated. "I don't require one. Quite simply, all I want is for her to find happiness."

In June, Shannon stated that she and John are not reconciling, but mentioned that they were amicable after a period of no communication following their breakup. She noted that neither of them are currently dating, and expressed difficulty in watching their past relationship unfold on screen.

In January, Shannon revealed that it was John who chose to end their four-year relationship. She shared with People that she had hoped he was the man she would spend the rest of her life with, and that she truly wanted their relationship to succeed. She expressed that she has never loved anyone as deeply as she loved John, but acknowledged that he did not share the same feelings.

The Real Housewives of Orange County airs on Bravo Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET.
