Mtn Dew is bringing back its Game Fuel beverage this year, and in honor of this occasion, the soft drink company has collaborated with Microsoft to create a unique map in Halo Infinite that draws inspiration from the drink.
Named Critical Dewpoint, this map will be introduced to Halo Infinite via the Halo 3 Refueled playlist in the upcoming week. This playlist includes seven beloved Halo 3 maps that have been recreated for Infinite utilizing Forge technology.
Critical Dewpoint, created by Forge user ArturBloodshot, offers an initial glimpse into the exciting world within. As mentioned on the Xbox Wire, this map pays homage to Mtn Dew, characterized by its captivating green tint, and even features a vending machine that dispenses power-ups.
Artur expressed the significance of this association, stating, "Everyone links Halo 3 with Mtn Dew, don't they? This nostalgia holds great importance within the community as it allows us to reminisce about our roots and appreciate the game's evolution in providing fresh experiences while preserving the essence of what we hold dear."
The Halo 3 Refueled playlist will be available from November 14 until November 28. However, the maps featured in this playlist will continue to be part of Halo Infinite's general rotation once the event concludes.
In addition, outside of the game, Mtn Dew Game Fuel in Citrus Cherry flavor is currently available in the US.

As an enthusiastic fan of Halo and Mtn Dew, I am thrilled about the collaboration between the two brands to create a new map in Halo Infinite. The Critical Dewpoint map looks amazing, and I can't wait to play it when it launches next week. I love the way the map captures the essence of Mtn Dew, with its green tint and the vending machine that dispenses power-ups. It's clear that a lot of thought and effort went into creating this map, and I appreciate the attention to detail.
I also appreciate the fact that the Halo 3 Refueled playlist will be available for two weeks, giving players plenty of time to check out the new map and experience the nostalgia of playing some of the classic Halo 3 maps. I'm sure this playlist will be a big hit with fans, and I'm looking forward to seeing what other maps are added to it in the future.
Overall, I think the collaboration between Halo and Mtn Dew is a great idea, and I'm excited to see what else comes from it. I'm already planning on picking up a can of Mtn Dew Game Fuel Citrus Cherry to enjoy while I'm playing the new map. Thanks to Halo and Mtn Dew for making this collaboration happen!
