An avid gamer has impressed the online community with their remarkable recreation of Pride Rock from The Lion King using Halo Infinite's Forge mode. Since the launch of Forge in late 2022, there have been several impressive creations, but this one stands out as one of the coolest. Forge mode in Halo Infinite is the most advanced version of its kind, combining the best features from past games into an incredible tool. Some players utilize Forge to pay homage to other video games, while others use it to revive old favorites. One player even spent 1400 hours recreating the iconic Valhalla map, showcasing the tool's immense capabilities. With a complex scripting language, creations are expected to continue improving as players become more familiar with it.

Mojoswoptops2020, a Redditor, has recreated Pride Rock from The Lion King, which looks strikingly similar to the original. The recreation depicts Rafiki presenting Simba to the animals of the Pride Lands, with the background lighting carefully adjusted to match the scene. The result is incredibly realistic, showcasing the creator's growing proficiency with the tool. Mojoswoptops2020 had previously used Halo Infinite's Forge to recreate Solitude from Skyrim, and their next project is eagerly anticipated. According to the creator, the recreation took three hours to complete, utilizing generic shapes in Forge mode to create an extremely convincing illusion. The final result is so impressive that it appears to have taken much longer than three hours.

Despite the Forge mode's success, there are lingering issues with Halo Infinite that have left many gamers dissatisfied. Although the game is now feature complete, the multiplayer's hit registration remains completely broken. This issue has made competitive games unplayable and casual games frustrating at best. However, 343 Industries is frequently updating the game, and gamers are hopeful that the studio can address these concerns in Season 4, which is set to launch later this month. Halo Infinite is now available on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
