Gia Giudice has been a constant presence on The Real Housewives of New Jersey for over ten years, starring alongside her mother, Teresa Giudice. And it seems that her journey on the show is far from over.
Speaking exclusively to We on Wednesday, November 8, Gia, who is now 22, shared, "To be honest, whenever my mom was at home, I would join the scene or occasionally attend events outside of our house. However, most of the time, we were primarily filming at home."
Gia acknowledged that she frequently participates in scenes when her mother Teresa, who is 52 years old, is filming at their house. "In terms of filming, I always act as my mom's right-hand person," she explained. "She often comes to me for advice, and we collaborate on everything, which is enjoyable."
Teresa, who has Gia with her ex-husband Joe Giudice, in addition to daughters Gabriella, Milania, and Audriana, added that her daughters have essentially grown up on the show. (Teresa has been a Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member since season 1, which aired in 2009.)
Teresa, who married Luis “Louie” Ruelas in August 2022, is supportive of her kids' involvement in reality TV. However, Gia is uncertain about whether she wants to pursue her mother's path full-time.
"I believe it has its ups and downs," Gia expressed on Wednesday. "After experiencing it myself, I don't think I would be a novice entering into it. But it's like, if you have skeletons in your closet, it's better not to be on the show. ... I feel like we've gone through everything on the show, so I would know how to handle it. I wouldn't dismiss the possibility of doing it. If the opportunity comes my way, I would consider it, but perhaps with some conditions."
Andy Cohen, an executive producer on the Real Housewives franchise, teased at BravoCon earlier this month that Gia has an enhanced role in season 14 of RHONJ.
Teresa Giudice and her daughter Gia Giudice were seen with Andy Cohen at the convention. During his "Ask Andy" panel, Cohen humorously mentioned that viewers can expect to see a lot more of Gia this year, expressing his fondness for her.
Gia, still dedicated to her studies, may not be ready to embrace the role of a Housewife just yet. After graduating from Rutgers University in May, she successfully secured a position at an immigration law firm.
With enthusiasm, Gia shared, "The criminal justice classes during my time in school were absolutely captivating. Exploring the sociology behind criminal behavior and understanding the motives behind their actions was incredibly intriguing. My main question has always been, 'Why do people actually do this?' The multitude of psychological factors and life traumas that drive individuals to commit these crimes is truly fascinating."

Gia found inspiration in her parents' "situation" - they were convicted of fraud in 2015 and went to prison. This motivated her to pursue law even more. She expressed her gratitude for having this background as it has proven to be incredibly helpful in her daily life.
In addition to her legal aspirations, Gia collaborated with her mom and sisters to create a special "Giudice Girls" collection for Shein. This collection consists of 100 pieces and is currently accessible on the Shein website, offering sizes up to 5X.
"We not only value comfort, but we also have a great appreciation for glamorous looks," stated Gia when discussing the line. "Shein, in my opinion, excels at offering a wide variety of designs and styles, catering to all sizes. Their website truly has something for everyone."
Further elaborating on the collection, Gia added, "Our primary goal was to create versatile pieces that would suit everyone's preferences. Within our collection, you'll find a range of options, from glamorous attire to silky pajamas, cozy sweatsuits, and comfortable loungewear. We covered it all, reflecting our fashion-forward personalities."
