General Hospital actress Robyn Bernard passed away at the age of 64 in California on Tuesday, March 12th. The Riverside County Sheriff's office revealed in a press release on Wednesday, March 13th, that Bernard's body was found in an open field behind a business in San Jacinto. The authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding her death.

TMZ reported that her autopsy had been scheduled for Wednesday, mentioning that it will take several weeks for toxicology results to come in. No further information has been shared at this time.

Bernard was most famous for her portrayal of Terry Brock on General Hospital from 1984 to 1990, appearing in a total of 145 episodes. Her character was a singer trying to make it big, but later struggled with alcoholism. In her final episode, she left the fictional town of Port Charles after landing a record deal.

Bernard was not only famous for her role in General Hospital but also for her performance in the 1981 French film Diva. She also showcased her acting skills on television shows such as Simon & Simon, Whiz Kids, and The Facts of Life.
