Garcelle Beauvais recently shared a post on her social media account featuring gift baskets of jam. The jam is from her new company, American Riviera Orchard. Before the products are officially for sale, Markle has been sending out these gift baskets. The company, according to the public trademark database, will offer a variety of items such as jams, preserves, butters, tablewares, cutlery, tablecloths, and cookbooks.
Celebrities such as Kris Jenner, Mindy Kaling, Chrissy Teigen, and Meghan Markle's former Suits costar Abigail Spencer have received jams as gifts.
Jenner, who is 68 years old, shared a photo of her jar on Instagram Stories on April 24. She expressed her gratitude by writing, "Thank you @americanrivieraorchard," accompanied by a lemon and yellow heart emoji.
Kaling, 44, also showed off the gift via Instagram Stories, writing: “Obsessed.”
Teigen, 38, got a bit more wordy and dedicated an entire Instagram post to her jam.
"We're jammin'!" she excitedly wrote on Wednesday, sharing a video of her showcasing her thoughtful gift. "This simple snack was one of the highlights of our year - just some rustic bread, salted butter, triple cream brie, thick cut bacon, and @americanrivieraorchard jam! It only took 8 minutes to make and brought us joy for the whole weekend."
On the other hand, Markle's friend Spencer, 42, known for her role as Dana Scott on Suits, happily shared photos of her gift basket on Instagram on Sunday, April 21.
The actress shared a slideshow featuring two pictures of Spencer playing in the grass with her dog, expressing, "This jam is my jam." She added, "A delicious taste of what’s to come indeed… love you so M🫶."
Markle's fruity spread has become a popular topic among royals ever since she began gifting the coveted jars.
Once celebrities began sharing about receiving their jam deliveries, the Buckingham Palace Shop decided to showcase their own brand on Instagram.
The shop's post highlighted their Strawberry Preserve, emphasizing that it is crafted with the finest berries and can be enjoyed in various ways.
Many people in the comments noticed the coincidental timing of the post. One person commented, "Why buy an imposter when you can have the real royal strawberry jam!" Another person compared Buckingham Palace to Montecito, saying, "Buckingham Palace over Montecito any day."

Meghan Markle's thoughtful gesture of gifting personalized jam jars to celebrities and influencers has garnered significant attention and sparked a buzz among royal enthusiasts. The jam, from her new company American Riviera Orchard, has been met with rave reviews and has even prompted Buckingham Palace to promote their own strawberry preserve. This strategic move by the Palace highlights the competitive nature of the market and the desire to retain their position as the purveyor of royal delicacies.
While Markle's jam has become a hot topic, it is important to note that the company's trademark database indicates a wide range of products that will be offered in the future, including tablewares, cutlery, and cookbooks. This suggests that Markle's entrepreneurial venture is not limited to jam production but may encompass a broader lifestyle brand. The success of her jam gifts and the anticipation surrounding her upcoming products demonstrate her ability to connect with her audience and create a buzz around her endeavors.
