A representative from Dior has clarified that Meghan Markle is not in talks to become a brand ambassador for the fashion house. The spokesperson stated that there have been no contract negotiations with the Duchess of Sussex and described the reports as "unfounded." Dior also confirmed that they have not had any recent contact with the former actress.
Meghan's potential partnership with Dior has sparked rumors, with the Mail on Sunday reporting that she is close to finalizing a significant deal. Dior, known for having influential brand ambassadors such as Jennifer Lawrence, Natalie Portman, Charlize Theron, and Yara Shahidi, has a longstanding connection with Meghan. Throughout the years, she has been seen wearing Dior designs on numerous occasions, including a white trench coat and skirt with a matching hat at the late Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee last year. Just last month, Prince Harry also donned a Dior suit for his father's coronation as King Charles III.

Meghan's decision to join talent agency WME earlier this year has fueled speculation about her future endeavors, particularly in relation to her and Harry's production company, Archewell Productions. Founded in 2020 with the aim of creating informative and inspiring content, the couple has already collaborated with Netflix on various projects, including the upcoming docuseries, Harry & Meghan, set to release in 2022. Despite the excitement surrounding her involvement with WME, Meghan has previously expressed her intention to not pursue acting again, stating in an interview with Variety in October 2022, "I guess never say never, but my intention is to absolutely not [again]."
Last week, Meghan and Harry announced that they will no longer continue their partnership with Spotify for their company Archewell Audio. As a result, their podcast "Archetypes" will not be returning for a second season. In a joint statement released on Thursday, June 15, Archewell Audio and the streaming platform expressed their mutual agreement to part ways and expressed pride in the series they created together.
The spokesperson from WME expressed that Meghan is content with the positive reception of her podcast, even after the termination of the partnership. They stated, "The team behind Archetypes is still proud of the podcast they produced on Spotify. Meghan is actively working on creating more content for the 'Archetypes' audience on a different platform."
