Crystal, who is 41 years old, revealed her departure from RHOBH through an Instagram video in April. In the video, she expressed, "I just wanted to share the news that I will not be coming back to film season 14 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. It’s very bittersweet. Never did I think I would have been asked to do the show in a million years, let alone film it for three seasons. Every single year I was asked back, it was a blessing. It was an honor."
Crystal expressed her gratitude to everyone for their amazing support, sharing her journey with her eating disorder and stories about her father's Alzheimer's. She also mentioned how she has been touched by the incredible stories shared by others. Real Housewives executive producer Andy Cohen commended Crystal for her gracious farewell message.
Andy praised the elegance and classiness of the event on his radio show, Radio Andy. He expressed his admiration by saying, "Wow, that's the way to do it." Andy thought it was great.
During an Amazon Live stream, Kyle, one of the original housewives, mentioned feeling "sad" about Crystal's departure.
Crystal was fired according to a source who exclusively informed us. The insider revealed, "She was let go because she failed to deliver. Producers informed her that she lacked a storyline, leading to her dismissal."
RHOBH newcomer Annemarie Wiley revealed in March that she will not be coming back for season 14.
Wiley expressed her disappointment in a statement posted on Instagram. She mentioned that she did not audition for the show, but was approached to join the cast unexpectedly, six weeks after filming had already begun. Two weeks later, she found herself thrown into filming in the middle of the season.
