Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky continue to have a deep love for their four daughters, despite their separation in 2023. In 1996, while Richards was four months pregnant with their first child, Alexia, the couple got married. Umansky then became the stepfather to Farrah, Richards' oldest daughter from her past marriage. In the years that followed, they welcomed two more daughters, Sophia in 2000 and Portia in 2008.
In February 2020, the Halloween star spoke exclusively to We about how she and Umansky navigate parenthood as a team.
"We have always been aligned in our goals, morals, and our approach to raising our children. It has made the journey easier," she shared with Us during that time. "While we were once kids ourselves, we have grown into adults who allow each other to truly be ourselves and offer unwavering support. That's a significant aspect of our bond."
Farrah and Alexia, the couple's daughters, have recently joined Umansky at his real estate firm. The trio is now featured on the Netflix reality series called Buying Beverly Hills.
Farrah expressed her concerns about being on a public platform that exposes both her family and professional life in November 2022. However, she eventually decided to embrace the opportunity, believing that as long as they remain genuine and showcase their daily activities, there's no harm in it.
Alexia shared with Us about how filming the TV series brought her family closer. "The hardships and emotions we went through really strengthened our bond," she expressed. "We reached a new level of connection that we had never experienced before."
Outside of work, the family ensures they spend quality time together, especially during their visits to Aspen. Throughout the years, Richards and Umansky have shared delightful snapshots of their vacations with their children in this cherished mountain destination.
Umansky shared a photo of his family on the snowy streets of the renowned Colorado city in February 2021, captioning it as "My squad."
In December 2022, Richards posted a picture on Instagram, featuring herself and her family donning matching sweaters with 'Aspen' written on the front. She greeted her followers with "Merry Christmas to you and yours ️."
Seven months later, it was confirmed by Us that Richards and Umansky had been separated for an extended period of time but were currently residing together despite their split. The couple, who had been married for 27 years, are reportedly on good terms as they navigate their next course of action, according to an insider.
