The Return of The Maiden's Rhapsody
The event first ran in 2015, but FF14 brought it back again in 2017, 2020, and 2022. Now, The Maiden’s Rhapsody is coming back to Final Fantasy 14 again in the months before Dawntrail. From January 22 through February 5, players can venture to Limsa Lominsa and pick up the quest, A Journey To Remember, from Remumu to begin their adventure as they help Iroha, a major hero from Final Fantasy 11, regain her memories and battle fiends across Eorzea. Fans who complete this event can earn the Amatsu glamour set – an undyable outfit worn by Iroha herself.

Event Details and Rewards
Players who have already completed this event during a previous run can play through it again using the Seasonal Event Replay feature by speaking with Remumu. Fans won’t be able to earn any additional rewards, but they can experience the story once again. Doing so will be especially important this time, as Dawntrail is having a bigger Final Fantasy 11 collaboration as a part of the expansion’s Alliance raid series. This isn't the only Final Fantasy crossover coming to the game over the next few months. Final Fantasy 14 is having an FF 16 crossover event in early April, giving players the chance to collect Clive’s outfit and a Torgal mount and minion in Final Fantasy 14 by completing a unique questline featuring a special instanced battle against Ifrit. The Xbox version of Final Fantasy 14 is entering beta soon, with its full launch planned for this spring. Though players on the new platform won’t be able to enjoy the Final Fantasy 11 crossover, they should be able to play the FF16 one. Many fans are also hoping Final Fantasy 14 considers doing reruns of other collaboration events once it goes live, especially considering the four-person Regalia mount was given out as a part of the FF15 crossover. While it has yet to announce reruns of these events, it is possible Final Fantasy 14 will do so once a fresh community of players is fully formed on the new console.
