Fierce Battle against Flux Construct in Zelda: Kingdom's Tears Ends in Unexpected Chaos

A brave player of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom faces a daunting challenge as they encounter a nightmarishly difficult boss battle against the merciless Flux Construct variant, leading to unexpected consequences

One unfortunate fan recently discovered that battles with Flux Constructs in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom can be more challenging than expected. While previous player attempts at fighting the game's enemies often ended in failure due to their own mistakes, this newly surfaced encounter with a Flux Construct is simply a case of incredibly bad luck.

The new Zelda game includes most of the enemies from its predecessor, in addition to introducing a few new monsters and reimagining some creatures from previous installments, such as Gibdos. Among these additions is the Flux Construct, a massive Zonai golem capable of transforming into various forms and inflicting significant damage. Although they pack a punch, Flux Constructs are slow and telegraph their attacks, making them relatively easy to fight compared to Tears of the Kingdom's non-overworld bosses.

During a recent encounter with a shape-shifting golem known as Flux Construct III in the Lomei Labyrinth of Tears of the Kingdom, a Reddit user named TheKingOfSeagulls experienced a harrowing turn of events. After bringing the golem's health down to a sliver, the user attempted to strike its weak spot but accidentally stepped on a block that was being reshuffled by the golem. As a result, Link, the game's protagonist, fell through the now-ethereal cube. In an unfortunate twist, the game's camera struggled to adjust, causing Flux Construct to turn and crush Link. Although this was technically a fatal experience, Link was saved by an auto-reviving Fairy in his inventory and managed to recover. The shared gameplay clip ended at this point, leaving it unknown whether the player successfully defeated the golem in their subsequent attempt.

Contrary to what this unfortunate encounter may suggest, battling Flux Constructs in the new Zelda game is far from a clumsy experience. On the contrary, the behavior of these captivating magical creatures offers players a plethora of strategies to conquer them, with each of Link's abilities presenting a distinctive approach. Therefore, it is safe to say that Flux Construct is the enemy that seamlessly integrates with the myriad mechanics present in Tears of the Kingdom, making it a standout feature of The Legend of Zelda game available on Nintendo Switch.
