Garrison Brown's siblings are grieving his passing at the age of 25. His sister Maddie Brown took to Instagram on Sunday, March 10, to share a heartfelt tribute. She posted a picture of Garrison with her children, expressing her deep sorrow. Maddie wrote, "My words cannot fully capture the pain we feel. Our hearts ache as we remember the love our dear brother left behind. May God be with you until we reunite. I envision you in Valhalla, sharing a meal with our ancestors. But for now, we must navigate a world dimmer without your bright light."

Maddie, who is 28 years old, shared a quote in her caption about grief and love. The quote says that grief is like love that has nowhere to go, filling up your eyes, throat, and chest with unspent love.

Garrison's half-sister, Gwendlyn Brown, reposted Maddie's tribute on her Instagram Story. She referred to Garrison by his given name, Robert Garrison, saying, "Uncle bob in his natural element ️."

We found out that Garrison passed away from an apparent suicide on Tuesday, March 5, in Flagstaff, Arizona. The Flagstaff P.D. reported that when officers reached Garrison’s home that morning, he was already deceased from what seemed to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Garrison’s brother, Gabriel Brown, was the one who discovered him.

On Tuesday, his parents, Kody Brown and Janelle Brown, shared a joint statement about his passing on Instagram.

We are heartbroken to share that our beloved son, Robert Garrison Brown, has passed away. He brought so much joy to everyone who knew him. The void left by his absence is overwhelming. We kindly request privacy during this difficult time and appreciate any gestures to honor his memory.

Garrison is one of Kody and Janelle's six children. His siblings are Maddie, Logan (29), Hunter (27), Gabriel (22), and Savanah (19).

Mykelti Brown, the daughter of Kody and Christine Brown, shared the family's official statement on Tuesday through her Instagram Story, expressing her love for her brother.

Kody has children with his ex-wives Meri and Christine, with whom he split in January 2023 and November 2021 respectively. He also has two biological children with his fourth wife, Robyn, whom he legally wed in 2014 and adopted her three children from a previous marriage.

Kody and Janelle ended their 30-year spiritual union in 2022. The split was partly caused by Kody's strained relationship with some of his children, like Garrison and Gabriel, who disagreed with his strict COVID rules.

In November 2023, Janelle shared exclusively with We that she hoped for "peace" between her children and their father in the future. She expressed how important it is to have a good relationship, especially with a parent, as any tension can impact their lives. Janelle remains optimistic that things will improve over time.

Garrison seemed to be feeling positive before he passed away. He shared on Instagram on February 28th that he had just welcomed a new cat into his home.
