Christine Brown wore a beaming smile as she said "I do" to her husband David Woolley. However, only one of her Sister Wives co-stars joined in the celebration. Janelle Brown attended the festivities held at the picturesque Red Cliffs Lodge in Moab, Utah on Saturday, October 7. The day after the wedding, Janelle, aged 54, shared a glimpse of the stunning scenery.
"Behold the magnificent beauty of Moab, UT," she captured her Instagram post on Sunday, October 8. "This place is truly stunning, especially during sunset."
Janelle raised a toast to Christine, 51, and her wedded bliss through her Instagram Story, sharing a video from the TLC account. In the clip, Christine exclaims, "I'm married!" as she gracefully spins in her white wedding gown, sharing a loving kiss with Woolley.
Kody Brown and Robyn Brown did not attend Christine's wedding, neither did Meri Brown. (Robyn, aged 45, is currently the only spouse of Kody, as both Janelle and Meri, aged 52, ended their spiritual marriages.)
On Sunday, the bride and groom shared photos from their outdoor wedding on their individual Instagram accounts, reflecting on their special day. Christine expressed her gratitude and joy, saying, "I feel incredibly blessed! I have married my best friend. @david__woolley and I are happy and honored to have been surrounded by so much love. Regarding Christine, Woolley affectionately called her his "unicorn" and expressed immense gratitude for being able to share the special occasion with their loved ones.
Previously, Christine was married to polygamist Kody from 1994 to 2021. Together, they have six children named Aspyn, Mykelti, Paedon, Gwendlyn, Ysabel, and Truely, aged 28, 27, 25, 21, 20, and 13, respectively.
It is uncertain if any of Christine's children attended her wedding with Woolley. However, Mykelti showed her love and support for her mother by sharing Christine's wedding photos on her Instagram Story, accompanied by a sticker that said "Yasss Queen."
The departure of Christine from the plural family caused conflicts among her sister wives. Despite this, Christine and Janelle managed to maintain a strong bond throughout the turmoil. In fact, during the 18th season of the TLC reality series, which premiered in August, Christine even encouraged Janelle to return to Utah, leaving behind Arizona and Kody.
Christine's friendship with Janelle remained unchanged during the chaos within the family, but her relationship with Robyn deteriorated even more. In an episode of Sister Wives in September, Robyn expressed her desire for Christine to eventually become friends with her. However, Christine had a different perspective on the situation.
In a confessional, Christine stated, "If Robyn was bothered by our lack of relationship, she should have communicated and asked if we could be friends. But honestly, even if she had, I would have rejected her friendship."
