Christine Brown, a star from Sister Wives, recently married David Woolley, almost two years after her separation from Kody Brown. People reports that the couple had a grand traditional wedding on Saturday, October 7, in Utah, attended by 350 people.
Woolley, 59, mentioned that his daughter's desire is to wear a white dress and walk down the aisle with him, something she missed out on during her first wedding. Christine, 51, concurred, expressing her wish for an extravagant wedding ceremony.

Before marrying Woolley, Christine was previously married spiritually to Kody, who is 54 years old, in 1994. Due to legal restrictions, Kody can only be legally married to one woman at a time. He legally married Meri Brown in 1990 and divorced her in order to legally marry Robyn Brown in 2014. Meri and Kody's spiritual marriage came to an end in 2022, as did the spiritual union between Janelle Brown and Kody, which began in 1993.
Christine was the first member of the Sister Wives cast to publicly announce the end of her relationship with Kody.
"In a statement released in November 2021, she announced her difficult decision to leave after more than 25 years together with Kody. Despite the separation, we will remain involved in each other's lives as devoted parents to our beautiful children and as supportive members of our wonderful family. During this time, we kindly ask for your understanding and compassion as we navigate this phase in our family dynamic."
They were blessed with six children, namely Aspyn (born in March 1995), Mykelti (born in June 1996), Paedon (born in August 1998), Gwendlyn (born in October 2001), Ysabel (born in June 2003), and Truely (born in April 2010).
Christine expressed that following the split, she felt like her voice in the family had been lost. In March 2022, she mentioned that during major decision-making moments, she questioned if her opinion really mattered, leading to struggles.
In February, Christine shared her post-breakup journey on social media, revealing that she had entered a new exclusive relationship. She described her new partner as wonderful, romantic, kind, and everything she had been seeking. She also mentioned that he had a great connection with both her and Kody's daughter, Truely, making him a dream come true.
In a heartfelt Valentine's Day post on Instagram, Christine introduced her fans to Woolley, whom she affectionately described as "the love of my life, David." She expressed how their first embrace had felt like a breath of life for her soul, praising him for his kindness, his ability to connect with her children, and his adorable role as a grandpa. She confessed that she had never imagined finding a love as profound as the one she shared with him.
In July, Woolley took a moment to share a glimpse into his personal life with his fans. Apologizing for not revealing his identity earlier, he disclosed that he had eight children, with six of them already married and two still single. Additionally, he proudly mentioned having ten grandchildren. Woolley also disclosed that he had other children and grandchildren in California whom he considered as part of his extended family. He shared that he had been a single dad for the past eleven years since his ex-wife succumbed to depression after their twenty-year marriage. Woolley acknowledged that he had dated but never found a relationship that progressed. Outside of his personal life, he mentioned his experience in the drywall industry, having been in the field since 1980 and owning his own company for the past twenty years.
He concluded, “I’m really excited to be with Christine the future is really bright!!”
