Kevin Costner alleges that his estranged wife, Christine Baumgartner, is seeking $248,000 per month in child support payments, but he claims that she intends to use the funds for her personal expenses. According to documents obtained on Wednesday, June 28, Christine supposedly attributes 60% of expenses, such as a private trainer, unallocated credit card expenses, and her own plastic surgery, to the minor children without providing any explanation or valid reason. Additionally, Costner states that Baumgartner spends a staggering $188,500 each month solely on plastic surgery, and that only she benefits from the services of a private trainer, not the children.

Costner, aged 68, and Baumgartner, aged 49, have three children together: Cayden, aged 16, Hayes, aged 14, and Grace, aged 13. Recently, Baumgartner accused the actor of using public attacks to pressure her into leaving their shared home without a temporary child support agreement in place. This information was revealed in legal documents obtained by Us. However, Baumgartner explained that she cannot move out yet because she doesn't have enough money to maintain her family's current lifestyle.

The documents state, "Christine understands that she and the children will eventually need to find a new home. However, at this early stage of the case, she is unable to do so due to a lack of sufficient funds to secure housing that will allow the children to maintain similar standards of living in both parents' homes."

Baumgartner claimed that she currently has no personal income as a stay-at-home mom. She stated that Costner made a $1 million payment to her according to their prenup agreement, but it was deposited into an account without her consent or knowledge. Baumgartner has instructed for the funds to be returned to him. She alleged that Kevin is trying to force her to accept the spousal support limitation by using these funds and believes his goal is to make her tap into the money so he can argue that she has waived her right to challenge the premarital agreement.

Costner argues in his recent documents that the current amount he pays for child support, which includes monthly payments, health insurance, extracurricular expenses, private school tuition, and car costs, is a reasonable amount. In May, it was confirmed that Baumgartner filed for divorce from Costner, citing irreconcilable differences. Costner claimed that Baumgartner is refusing to leave their shared property, but Baumgartner's lawyer argued that Costner doesn't have the legal right to evict them from their family home.

John Rydell, Baumgartner's attorney, stated in court documents obtained by Us that this RFO (request for order) aims to evict Christine and their three children from the house they have resided in since birth. Despite the lack of a strong legal foundation for Kevin's desire to remove his wife and children from their home, Christine considers this matter of utmost significance.
