Britney's upcoming memoir, "The Woman in Me," reportedly reveals that Jamie Lynn, her 32-year-old sister, approached her with the idea of a "sister talk show" shortly after her return from a mental health facility. According to an exclusive source, Britney, who was still recovering and medicated, describes feeling emotionally drained as her family entered her home as if nothing had occurred.

According to Britney, she was in a state of extreme fatigue when Jamie Lynn enthusiastically presented the idea for a talk show. Britney observed that her sister would often return from television show meetings in a loud and cheerful manner, but she viewed Jamie Lynn's every word as a new scheme.

This is not the first instance where the singer of "Toxic" has accused Jamie Lynn of lacking support during difficult periods in her life. Following Jamie Lynn's discussion about their relationship on Good Morning America in January 2022, Britney expressed on X (formerly Twitter) that the Zoey 101 actress was rarely present around her 15 years ago.

The sisters' rift worsened when Britney's lawyer sent Jamie Lynn a cease and desist after the release of her memoir, Things I Should Have Said, and her appearance on the "Call Her Daddy" podcast. Britney publicly criticized Jamie Lynn, calling her "scum" on her Instagram Story and criticizing her book. In addition to revealing Jamie Lynn's ill-timed TV show pitch, Britney also alleged in The Woman in Me that she learned about her sister's teenage pregnancy from the media. Jamie Lynn has defended herself against speculation that she did not support her sister during Britney's 13-year conservatorship, which ended in November 2021.
