Britney Spears and Sam Asghari have encountered some challenges in their marriage, one year after getting married. However, they remain committed to their love for each other, according to an exclusive source in the latest issue of We.
Despite facing rumors of a split, the couple remains resolute in their commitment to making their marriage thrive, according to a source. Britney Spears, aged 41, and Sam Asghari, aged 29, first crossed paths when he featured in the music video for her popular song "Slumber Party" in 2016. After almost five years, the Grammy winner publicly announced their engagement in September 2021.

Legal expert Mina Sirkin explained in September 2021 that if Britney Spears and Sam Asghari decide to get married, they would need to go through the process of creating a prenuptial agreement. The conservatorship that was in place since 2008 would not necessarily prevent Spears from getting married, unless a judge determines that she lacks the capacity to do so.
During her battle for freedom, Asghari stood out as one of the strongest advocates for the "Toxic" singer. Being an Iran native, he publicly rejoiced in Spears' legal victory in November 2021 and took to Instagram to express his excitement, stating, "History was made today. Britney is Free! ️."
In June of the following year, the couple sealed their love in an intimate ceremony held in California. Spears looked stunning in a custom off-the-shoulder gown created by Donatella Versace as she walked down the aisle, complementing her look with exquisite jewelry by Stephanie Gottlieb. (Just a month before their wedding, the couple shared the heartbreaking news of Spears' pregnancy loss.)

“They are extremely happy and have a strong and loving marriage,” a source exclusively revealed in March, putting to rest any speculation about Spears and Asghari's relationship.
The couple's relationship has been marred by accusations regarding Spears' health, in addition to ongoing rumors about their marital status. In February, the Crossroads star vehemently denied widespread reports claiming that her loved ones had orchestrated an intervention.
"I am disgusted that there are individuals who are legally allowed to fabricate stories about me nearly dying... There comes a point where this must end!!" she expressed through her Instagram Story.
