Bethenny Frankel has shared her thoughts on the controversy surrounding Tom Sandoval's comment about Ariana Madix wearing a T-shirt during sex. In a TikTok video posted on June 14th, the former Real Housewives of New York City star stated that Sandoval had sex with his girlfriend while cheating on her and then complained about her choice of clothing.

Frankel revealed that she wears a night guard and sometimes uses earplugs and an eye mask while sleeping. Her fiancé, Paul, would prefer her to just wear a T-shirt. However, according to Frankel, Madix could have opted for even less sexy attire such as a diaper. She added that in both parenthood and sex, one should accept what they get and not get upset.

During the Vanderpump Rules season 10 reunion, Sandoval and Madix discussed their recent breakup, which had sent fans into a frenzy. The couple had been together for almost a decade before their split was confirmed in March due to Sandoval's affair with Raquel Leviss, a co-owner of TomTom. In part 3 of the reunion special, Madix had a heated confrontation with Leviss, during which she expressed her anger and frustration towards her former partner's new love interest.

During the episode, it was revealed that the Florida native and Sandoval were still intimate despite his hookup with Leviss. Sandoval's response left the rest of the cast speechless and even caused host Andy Cohen to grimace. Prior to the premiere, the producer had predicted that Sandoval's commentary would upset women and explained that weaponizing someone's body issues, particularly when they have previously expressed insecurity about their body, was cringey.

Madix, meanwhile, turned the insult into an opportunity by selling merch with the phrase “F–k Me in This T-Shirt” on her and Katie Maloney‘s Something About Her website.
