Kim Zolciak-Biermann is being sued for her unpaid Target credit card bill.

The star of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, aged 45, allegedly has a balance of $2,482.24 and has not made a payment since September 2022. On Wednesday, June 28, Target National Bank filed a complaint stating that Zolciak-Biermann has "failed, neglected and refused" to pay off the principal balance, according to documents obtained by Page Six. This legal action is occurring during Zolciak-Biermann and Kroy Biermann's tumultuous split, which was reportedly triggered by financial difficulties, as revealed by an exclusive source in May.

According to a source, the couple's financial difficulties have put a strain on their relationship. These challenges include tax debt and other financial stresses. The tax debt was the final issue that led to the breakdown of their 11-year marriage.

Zolciak-Biermann and Biermann first met in 2010 and got married in 2011. They have four children together: sons Kroy "KJ" Jr., 11, and Kash, 10, as well as twins Kaia and Kane, 9. Additionally, Biermann adopted Zolciak-Biermann's two daughters, Brielle, 26, and Ariana, 21, from previous relationships. In light of their separation, Biermann has requested ownership of the estate and sole custody of their minor children.

Zolciak-Biermann's unpaid Target bill is the latest among a series of headlines pertaining to their debts. TMZ previously reported that Zolciak-Biermann and Biermann owe over $1.1 million in unpaid taxes, just hours before their divorce filing made the news.

In addition, it was confirmed earlier this year by Us that the couple's Alpharetta, Georgia home is currently in foreclosure. The property was bought for $880,000 in 2012. Following the duo's default on their mortgage payments in August 2022, Trust Bank initiated foreclosure proceedings. Although an auction for the property was initially set for March, it was later canceled, with no news on whether it will be rescheduled in the future.

According to court documents obtained by Us in late May, Biermann accused Zolciak-Biermann of having a gambling problem. He alleged that she spends a significant amount of time and marital funds on gambling and other games of chance, which has resulted in severe financial damage to both parties. Additionally, the athlete claimed that she is so consumed with online gambling that she is unable to properly care for their children. To support his claims, he provided checks and bank statements amounting to thousands of dollars that supposedly prove the extent of the "Wig" singer's gambling activities. In response to these allegations, Zolciak-Biermann completed a parenting course.

After Zolciak-Biermann requested her estranged spouse to undergo drug testing, his allegations were formally filed. According to court documents obtained by Us, she claimed to have personally witnessed Biermann "smoking marijuana" and expressed serious concerns about the well-being and safety of their children while under his care.

On June 13, Zolciak-Biermann's lawyer released a statement, describing the situation as disheartening due to Kroy's public handling of their divorce. The statement emphasized the potential long-term impact on their children and criticized Kroy's continuous spreading of false information to discredit Kim as an unfit mother for his personal gain, asserting it to be harmful and a misrepresentation of her efforts in raising their children.

Biermann has since requested the court to appoint family law attorney Diane Woods as Guardian ad Litem for the pair’s four minor children “so that she may immediately begin her investigation.”
