In bodycam footage filmed weeks prior to their reconciliation, Kim Zolciak-Biermann described her husband Kroy Biermann as "aggressive". The video, obtained by RadarOnline on July 11, shows the couple, who were estranged at the time, engaging in a heated argument after police officers arrived at their home. Zolciak-Biermann, aged 45, referred to Biermann, aged 37, as "f–king crazy" and accused him of locking her out of their house and taking her car keys.
In tears, the former star of The Real Housewives of Atlanta expressed her frustration about being denied access to the bathroom. She shared that her husband had locked her out and she was unable to re-enter. She even mentioned contemplating calling the authorities multiple times in the past due to issues with Biermann. During a phone conversation with a friend, Zolciak-Biermann claimed that Biermann was persistently shadowing his wife on their property. Emotionally, she acknowledged that something was wrong with his mindset and expressed her exhaustion with dealing with these issues on a daily basis.
In separate footage, the ex-athlete admitted to possibly "raising" his voice at Zolciak-Biermann while addressing the same officers. He explained that he had requested her to leave their bedroom so he could shower in private due to a lack of trust. Despite his request, she refused to leave, leading him to label her as a narcissist who enjoys playing manipulative games.

The public has witnessed the dramatic unfolding of the couple's relationship troubles ever since they both filed for divorce in May. In the midst of their breakup, Biermann insisted that Zolciak-Biermann undergo a psychological assessment. Shortly after, Zolciak-Biermann countered by requesting that Biermann take a drug test, expressing concerns about her children's safety while under his care.
Having gotten married in 2011, the pair have four children together: Kroy "KJ" Jr., aged 11, Kash, aged 10, and twins Kaia and Kane, aged 9. Additionally, Biermann has formally adopted Zolciak-Biermann's two daughters from a previous relationship, Brielle, aged 26, and Ariana, aged 21.

In response, Zolciak-Biermann claimed that Biermann had locked her personal possessions, including designer purses, jewelry, and her passport, in a safe. Biermann, a former NFL player, stated that he intended to sell shared property in order to alleviate some expenses.
After a lengthy legal process, the couple submitted paperwork on July 7 to withdraw their divorce request. According to an exclusive source, their decision to reconcile did not come as a surprise to their friends.
The initial filing was even more surprising since they had never noticed any issues in their marriage, revealed the source. They held firm beliefs that Kim and Kroy had an extraordinary marriage and would remain together indefinitely. The fact that they have chosen to address their problems and work on their relationship has brought immense joy to everyone.
