The Sister Wives stars started their plural family with a spiritual wedding in 1993. Kody was originally married to Meri Brown before bringing Janelle into the family.

In 1994, Kody spiritually married Christine Brown. In 2014, he legally divorced Meri while maintaining a spiritual relationship with her. He then married Robyn Brown and adopted her three children.

The TLC personality was born in January 1969 in Wyoming. He married his first wife, Meri, in 1990. Three years later, he entered into a spiritual union with Janelle. Christine joined the family in 1994 and Robyn was added in 2010. It wasn’t until 2014 that Kody legally married Robyn after divorcing Meri.

Kody and Janelle share six children, four sons and two daughters. They also share two grandchildren. Ahead of their 30th wedding anniversary in January 2023, the pair revealed they were separated. The twosome shared the split news in December 2022 as part of season 17’s Sister Wives: One-on-One special.

Janelle Brown

Janelle was born in Utah in May 1969. She was previously married to Adam Barber, who is Meri's brother, for two years before they separated in 1990. Afterward, she found love with Kody and spiritually married him in 1993, becoming his second wife. She is also the founder of Strive With Janelle.

Kody and Janelle had six children together over their almost 30-year marriage. By December 2022, they announced that they had decided to separate after having numerous disagreements about their children and the family's perceived lack of respect for the father.

Logan and Michelle Brown

Logan, the firstborn child of Kody and Janelle, is the oldest of all the Brown children. He was born in May 1994 in Utah. Logan completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2017 and later obtained his master's degree from the same institution in 2020.

In 2015, while attending UNLV, Logan started dating Michelle Brown (formerly Petty). In September 2017, he proposed to her and the couple got married in October 2022.

Maddie Brown and Caleb Brush

Madison, also known as Maddie, was born in November 1995. She is the second child of Janelle and the fourth child of Kody, who has a total of 18 children, including three stepchildren, with his four spouses. Maddie started attending Utah State University but dropped out after getting engaged to Caleb Brush in 2015.

The couple tied the knot in June 2016 and have since welcomed three children, son Axel, and daughters Evie and Joey.

Hunter Brown

Hunter, born in February 1997, is the third child of Janelle and Kody. He graduated from United States Air Force Preparatory School in May 2016 and went on to attend the United States Air Force Academy. In April 2020, Hunter finished in the top 10 percent of his college class.

After completing his master's degree at Johns Hopkins School of Nursing in May 2022, Hunter has been in a relationship with Audrey Hubert since April 2021.

Garrison Brown

Robert, also known as Garrison, became the fourth child in the family in April 1998. He joined the Nevada Army National Guard in November 2015 and completed his basic training the next year. Garrison had a passion for hiking and photography in nature.

In 2019, he launched an online clothing store called Bob’s Floral. During that time, he also started a relationship with his girlfriend, Kylie, but they chose to keep their love life private from social media. Sadly, in March 2024, we learned that Garrison passed away at the age of 25 from an apparent suicide.

Gabriel Brown

Gabriel, also known as Gabe, is the youngest child of Janelle and Kody. He was born in Utah in October 2001 and started attending Northern Arizona University in August 2019. Recently, Janelle shared on Instagram in November 2021 that Gabe has a "plus one", although her identity remains a mystery.

Savanah, the youngest child of the duo, was born in December 2004. When she was eight years old, she moved to Las Vegas with her family before they eventually settled in Arizona in 2018. Currently in 2022, Savanah is the only one of Janelle's children still residing with her, as the rest have moved out.
