Hammer opened up in a revealing interview on Grand Cayman: Secrets in Paradise, breaking his silence. During filming in February 2023, he admitted to being unfaithful in his marriage.

In his interview with Air Mail, Hammer acknowledged his mistakes and took responsibility for his actions. He confessed to being selfish, treating people poorly, and using them to boost his own ego. However, he made it clear that all his relationships were consensual.
