Players of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom have taken their creativity to new heights by utilizing the game's abilities to construct an impressive array of contraptions. A popular feature, the Ultrahand ability, not only enables players to pick up and manipulate any object in the game, but also allows them to attach objects together. This unique capability has been used to deadly effect, with some players creating powerful mechs using Zonai devices to defeat bosses, and others inventing clever ways to torment Koroks. However, one particularly imaginative player decided to take a different approach and threw a rave party for the game's monsters, showcasing the endless possibilities of Tears of the Kingdom's gameplay.
Using highly reflective mirrors sourced from the Gerudo Desert area of the map, a member of the Tears of the Kingdom subreddit known as Orikron kickstarted the party by attaching them to a Zonai Big Wheel with the help of Ultrahand. The wheels were then whacked with a weapon, setting them in motion and creating a dazzling display of light and movement that turned the entire setup into a Hyrulian disco ball. The nearby Bokoblins were left awestruck and seemed to be compelled to join in the festivities, although in reality, they were simply being repeatedly stunned by the light reflecting off the mirrors. It's worth noting that Link wasn't exactly dancing either, as the shot was taken from the perspective of Tears of the Kingdom's in-game camera, which allowed players to pose Link in various ways for selfies. Orikron was simply engaging and disengaging a specific pose repeatedly to give the impression of dancing.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom sets itself apart from other Zelda games with its unique features and tools that allow players to unleash their creativity. Rather than immediately jumping into the task of saving Hyrule and finding Princess Zelda, players can instead indulge in the joy of constructing clever contraptions to solve complex puzzles or even build a massive wheel of death just for fun. It's been just a few weeks since the game's release and players have already shown remarkable ingenuity. One can only imagine what creative feats they will accomplish in the coming year. The game is currently available on Nintendo Switch.
