However, he stresses that just like any normal family, the Full House cast experiences their fair share of issues, which they eventually resolve. Please read his complete statement below:
"People often come to me and say, 'Hey, here's what she said.' But we're like a family, you know? We quarrel, we debate, we hold each other accountable. We have our disagreements, but ultimately, we have a deep love for one another and we find ways to work through them," he elaborates. "I mean, we've gone through ups and downs, births and deaths, marriages and divorces — the typical challenges that any family encounters."
Candace Cameron-Bure and Jodie Sweetin’s Rumored Feud Explained
In late 2022, it was revealed that Sweetin and Cameron-Bure had a falling out because of their differing opinions on same-sex marriage. The conflict arose when Cameron-Bure made a controversial statement about "traditional marriage" being central to the Great American Family, her new network following her departure from the Hallmark Channel. This remark generated significant public and peer commentary. Sweetin never publicly expressed her views on the matter, but she showed solidarity with Jojo Siwa, who openly criticized Cameron-Bure.
As a result, Sweetin unfollowed her on-screen sister on Instagram, intensifying their feud. Despite this, Sweetin continues to voice her support for inclusivity. Since the incident, however, the two have been seen together in public. In March 2023, they, along with Andrea Barber and Coulier, attended the '90s Con in Hartford, Connecticut. Although they appeared friendly towards each other, they did not address the rumors of their falling out that were circulating at the time, a situation that persists today. Only Coulier has made any comments regarding the matter.
Cameron-Bure became involved in yet another controversy when Miss Benny alleged that she was forcefully removed from Fuller House due to the disapproval of a cast member towards her and her character, who happened to be the first gay character in the series. Though no specific cast member was mentioned, Cameron-Bure was indicated. In response, the actress from Aurora Teagarden promptly denied any involvement in the matter.
