Exclusive First Look: Unveiling the New Disney Lorcana: Rise of the Floodborn Raya Card

Disney Lorcana unveils a new card featuring Raya in the upcoming expansion set, Rise of the Floodborn. Officially announced at the 2022 D23 Expo, Disney's trading card game has generated immense excitement amongst fans due to its unique character art and six different rarity tiers. The highly anticipated first chapter, Disney Lorcana: The First Chapter, was launched on August 18 with such high demand that a reprint was scheduled for the end of 2023.

In September, Disney Lorcana publishing company Ravensburger announced Chapter 2, which will include over 200 new cards with fresh artwork. This expansion will focus on six additional Disney franchises, including Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Pinocchio, Zootopia, The Great Mouse Detective, The Jungle Book, and Raya and the Last Dragon. Additionally, both Winnie the Pooh and Tiana will make their first appearance in the game.

In preparation for the highly anticipated release of Disney Lorcana: Rise of the Floodborn on November 17, we are excited to unveil a stunning new hero card featuring Raya from Disney's Raya and the Last Dragon. This card, aptly named Ruby Ink, is a common rarity and showcases the incredible artwork of Amber Kommavongsa. Raya is elegantly portrayed on the card, embodying her dual roles as a Storyborn, a Princess, and a Hero. With a Strength rating of 2 and a Willpower rating of 3, this card is sure to captivate fans and enhance gameplay.

The card's actions allow the player to ready the character after it has banished another in a challenge. However, Raya cannot participate in quests for the remainder of the turn as a consequence. Players who are interested can discover this card and many others in stores during the launch of Disney Lorcana: Rise of the Floodborn, commencing on November 17. Additionally, the Disney Lorcana Disney100 Edition will be available from December 1.
