The Real Housewives cast members have been speculating about the ongoing communication between Jayne and Girardi. Despite their divorce and Girardi's legal issues, Jayne had maintained contact with him until the day Tiago died, at which point she ultimately chose to block him.
Erika Jayne of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has faced numerous hardships, many of which were caused by her ex-husband, Tom Girardi. In a recent interview with PEOPLE, the singer and dancer discussed various aspects of her life, including the heartbreaking decision to euthanize her beloved dog, as well as her choice to block her ex on social media. Jayne also addressed the ongoing conflicts among the housewives. She expressed her sadness over the loss of Tiago, her 12-year-old canine companion whom she considered her closest friend. Jayne mentioned that she hesitated to announce the dog's passing on Instagram but felt it was appropriate to openly discuss her grief. She shared that her home now feels quiet and empty without her cherished pet.
Erika and Tom's Problems Have Persisted Since They Split
It was on that day that Jayne decided to prevent Girardi from contacting her. "I had to euthanize my dog two weeks ago, and during that time, Tom Girardi was incessantly calling me twenty times a day. I reached a point where I couldn't handle it anymore. Therefore, I made the decision to block him," she revealed. "He has been blocked for the past two weeks. As a result, we are currently not on speaking terms."
The women of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills questioned why Jayne maintained communication with Girardi despite their legal troubles and divorce. In 2020, they ended their nearly 30-year relationship. The reasons for their split became known as Girardi's legal troubles intensified. Speculation arose as to whether Jayne left her long-term ex-partner once it became evident that he would lose his fortune, an allegation the Bravo star vehemently denies.
Girardi stands accused of embezzling funds from the families of the victims involved in a 2018 plane crash that he represented in a lawsuit. Adding to the peculiarity of the situation, his trial has gained attention due to his deteriorating health and the appointment of a conservator to advocate for him.
