Erika Jayne is addressing her weight loss journey and dispelling rumors about her use of Ozempic to accelerate the process. The 52-year-old appeared as a guest on the August 1 episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, showcasing her slim physique in a black tank top and coordinating pants. Host Andy Cohen playfully commented on her transformation, stating that she looked significantly slimmer. Jayne took the opportunity to explain her weight loss.
"Yes, I indeed lost weight, and I achieved it through hormonal means," she proclaimed. Cohen, who is 55 years old, playfully quipped, "Not through Ozempic, I presume?"
Jayne attributed her weight loss to "going through menopause," considering it the main factor. However, fellow WWHL participant Jackie Hoffman, a 62-year-old Feud alum, expressed doubts. She wondered, "Who actually loses weight during menopause?"
Despite the disbelief of Hoffman and Cohen, Jayne confidently stated that her weight loss occurred naturally. Furthermore, she emphasized her desire to avoid triggering any negative emotions about body image among those at home. Drawing attention to her concern for costar Crystal Kung Minkoff, who openly shares her battle with bulimia, Jayne mentioned that this conversation took place in Beverly Hills.
Erika Jayne, known for her YouTube channel, has recently attracted attention for her new slimmer appearance during the summer. Interestingly, she is not the only Housewife who has prompted rumors about using Ozempic. Kyle Richards has consistently denied any use of the medication, as it is specifically designed for individuals with type 2 diabetes.
After flaunting her toned abdomen in a selfie posted in January, the 54-year-old dismissed accusations concerning her physical transformation. In response to a fan's Instagram comment, she clarified that her stunning appearance was not a result of plastic surgery, nor had she ever tried ozempic. Although she did admit to undergoing a breast reduction in May, she emphasized her transparency about her actions. Nonetheless, she sarcastically added that if ascribing her change to plastic surgery brings satisfaction to others, they are free to believe so.
Continuing her denial, four months later she reiterated her stance. In a May interview with Page Six, she confirmed that she had never experimented with Ozempic and vehemently denied using any weight loss medication. Given her struggles with severe anxiety, the mere thought of such drugs terrified her. She concluded by emphasizing that she had never, under any circumstances, consumed Ozempic or any similar substance.
Richards subtly criticized Jayne, suggesting that while she was uncertain about Erika's situation, she couldn't comprehend why people didn't pay more attention to Jayne's significant weight loss. She wondered why the focus was on her when Jayne had achieved such a drastic transformation.

Amidst the ongoing discussion about Ozempic, Richards took a jab at her estranged husband, Mauricio Umansky. In July, Umansky, 53, posted a photo of his toned physique on Instagram, shortly after the couple revealed their separation. Richards wasted no time in applauding the attention-seeking post.
“Must be the Ozempic ,” Richards teased in the comments section, to which Umansky replied, “@kylerichards18 must be.”
