Ed Sheeran emerged from confinement, thriving with the assistance of fellow musician Brandon Flowers from The Killers.

During his live show at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on October 28th, as part of the Mathematics Tour, the 32-year-old Sheeran pleasantly surprised his audience with a Halloween-themed gesture. Donning a Chucky costume from the Child's Play/Chucky franchise, Sheeran expressed his intent to feature a local Vegas artist, who would perform "the song that epitomizes my country's identity."

Flowers, age 42, stylishly dressed in black, emerged while the opening chords of "Mr. Brightside" — undoubtedly The Killers' most successful track — filled the air. He rallied the audience to participate in a sing-along, accompanied by Sheeran on guitar and harmonizing on the chorus.

After Sheeran contributed to one of Flowers's songs, the iconic alternative rock artist reciprocated the gesture. Together, Flowers and Sheeran delivered a captivating rendition of "Castle On The Hill" from Sheeran's 2017 album, +, which left both the crowd in Las Vegas and Flowers himself absolutely thrilled. A fan captured the entire performance, during which Flowers exuded joy at performing for his hometown and sharing the stage with his fellow music superstar.

The Killers' debut single, "Mr. Brightside," emerged in 2003, a year prior to the release of their first studio album, Hot Fuss. It achieved success, reaching the No. 10 spot on both the US Billboard Hot 100 and the UK Singles Chart. NME recognized the song's significance in 2014, including it at No. 116 on their esteemed "500 Greatest Songs of All Time" list. The band's ability to captivate listeners was evident, as the song served as a freewheeling expression of bitterness and infidelity. Rolling Stone also acknowledged its impact, positioning it at No. 48 in their compilation of the "100 Best Songs of the 2000s." Pitchfork further acclaimed the song, dubbing it as one of the standout rock singles of 2005.

The Killers' seventh studio album, Pressure Machine, was released in August 2021, showcasing a distinct Americana and folk-rock sound. The album garnered favorable reviews from critics.

After his Sin City performance, Sheeran celebrated the conclusion of his U.S. tour by joining The Chainsmokers at XS Nightclub located in Wynn Las Vegas. He made a special appearance in the DJ booth and delighted club attendees with his top-charting hits "Shape of You," "Perfect," and "Bad Habits," partying until the early hours of the morning.

While Sheeran embraced the Halloween spirit for his Vegas concert, he recently addressed speculations surrounding the construction of a "crypt" on his English estate. In an interview with GQ, he clarified that it is not a crypt, but rather a chapel he built as a place of mourning for his loved ones who have passed away. The chapel also serves as a venue for weddings of his friends. However, during the construction, the chapel's beauty captivated him to the extent that he expressed his desire to be laid to rest there.

"It's a burial pit, excavated with a stone cover, where I will eventually be laid to rest," he disclosed to the publication. "Although some find it peculiar and gloomy, I've witnessed friends pass away without leaving a will, leaving everyone clueless about their final arrangements."
