Dragonflight Returns to WoW's Beloved Dungeon

World of Warcraft players can look forward to the return of a beloved dungeon in an upcoming update. Each expansion has its own standout dungeons, but over time, the nostalgia for older instances grows stronger. Among the most memorable for veteran players is the Magisters' Terrace, which was introduced during the final patch of The Burning Crusade. Recent information from Patch 10.1.5 by Wowhead suggests that Scholomance will make a comeback in World of Warcraft, though the specifics are currently unknown. While the dungeon was previously featured in Mists of Pandaria with some changes, it seems that Blizzard Entertainment has something different in store for Kel'Thuzad's former academy. Two new achievements related to Scholomance were discovered in the client, one concerning the journal of Eva Sarkhoff and the other involving the defeat of Kirtonos the Herald. These NPCs were absent from the Mists of Pandaria version of the instance, which raises further questions about their sudden reappearance.

The new Scholomance achievement in World of Warcraft raises some questions about Blizzard's plans for Classic content. It's possible that a limited event featuring a Classic version of Scholomance is in the works, or that a new version of the dungeon will include both Gandling and Kirtonos. The return of old Naxxramas achievements and cosmetics, as well as the treatment of Zul'Gurub in Patch 10.0.7, suggest that Blizzard is revisiting Classic content and giving new players the chance to collect its rewards. Meanwhile, despite recent controversies, the direction of Dragonflight has been strong, with Embers of Neltharion standing out as one of the game's best patches in years. If Blizzard can maintain this momentum, fans may look back on Dragonflight as the expansion that revitalized World of Warcraft.
