World of Warcraft has recently incorporated an epilogue into the Human Heritage quest, which was initially introduced in Patch 10.0.7. This additional dialogue has been discreetly included as part of Patch 10.1.5 and establishes an exciting storyline for the future of Stormwind in the World of Warcraft. In March, Heritage Armor quests for Human characters were introduced, allowing players to uncover a conspiracy orchestrated by a corrupt noble aiming to exploit Onyxia's legacy and the remaining members of the Defias Brotherhood in order to gain power over Stormwind.
With the release of Patch 10.1.5, World of Warcraft brings a hopeful conclusion to the Human Heritage quest. Although players successfully completed the quest, they were disappointed by the lack of on-screen efforts to address the class disparity that caused the problem in the first place. However, in the latest update, new dialogue reveals that key NPCs from Westfall and the Heritage quest are now collaborating to form the Breadbasket Guild. This officially-sanctioned organization aims to address the root cause of the Defias problem. Screenshots of the dialogue were shared by Portergauge, a dedicated World of Warcraft fan and lore expert, on his personal Twitter account.
Cecilia Clessington, the daughter of the corrupt noble in the Heritage quest, is a strong supporter of this new guild. Taking her father's position in the House of Nobles, she is utilizing her privilege to bring about significant changes in the political climate of Stormwind by seeking allies who share her vision. These efforts mark the initial steps of Stormwind, the kingdom in World of Warcraft, towards establishing a House of the People and embracing democratic principles.
Vanessa VanCleef, the former leader of the Defias Brotherhood, is leveraging her connections to support and safeguard the Breadbasket Guild from behind the scenes. It appears that World of Warcraft has plans to further develop this storyline in the future, giving Stormwind the opportunity to recover from the destruction caused by Onyxia for the first time since Vanilla WoW.
The latest patch in World of Warcraft introduced an impressive and surprising epilogue. While the Human Heritage quest was decent, it paled in comparison to its Orc counterpart released in the same patch. Players were full of praise for the Orc quest, but many were disappointed with the Human one, as it failed to create meaningful and lasting changes for the troubled kingdom. Now, World of Warcraft has taken this feedback to heart, and players eagerly anticipate the future of this particular storyline.
World of Warcraft is available now for PC.
