Located in the canyon at the base of the Eldin Mountains, the Foothill Stable is just one of the 16 stables spread throughout Hyrule in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. This particular stable is known for its beautiful surroundings filled with lakes and, interestingly, men in their undergarments.

Link can conveniently reach the Foothill Stable by fast traveling to either the Upland Zorana Skyview Tower (2858, 0582, 0379) or Eldin Canyon Skyview Tower (1637, 1183, 0225), both of which are located in close proximity. Upon arrival, Link can glide down from the nearby cliffs and easily spot the stable with its distinctive horse-headed tower and billowing white smoke.

Alternatively, if the player has not yet unlocked these sky towers, they can take the main road past the Lanayru Wetlands and make a left at both forks in the road. Along the way, they will pass through the Trilby Valley before arriving at a trio of lakes where the Foothill Stable is situated.

After taking a well-deserved break, Link can explore a variety of activities in and around the Foothill Stable. To the left of the stable, Link can descend into a small cave through the Foothill Stable Well, which houses two chests and two mineral veins. At the crossroad leading up to the stable, Addison holds up a sign honoring the venerable President Hudson. A stranded Korok can be found on a nearby hill, eagerly awaiting assistance to reunite with a companion. Link can also visit the Kisinona Shrine by following a tunnel and climbing up a nearby hill behind the Stable, which provides a quick and convenient means of travel back to the stable. Additionally, two side quests, "A Picture for Foothill Stable" and "For Our Princess!" are linked to the Foothill Stable.

To complete the "A Picture for Foothill Stable" quest, Link must travel to Goron City and use the Purah Pad's camera to take a specific photograph requested by the stable's proprietor, Ozunda. This quest is simple, but requires completion of at least one temple and unlocking of the camera. On the other hand, "For Our Princess!" is part of the "Potential Princess Sightings" series, where Link collaborates with Lucky Clover Gazette to complete tasks, including combat, across multiple stables in Hyrule. This series rewards the player with the valuable Froggy Armor set.
