Demi Lovato has recently revitalized her previous musical successes for her Revamped LP, which has been a very meaningful project for her.
"Reimagining 'Heart Attack' was a particularly special experience as it holds such significance for my fans and served as the inspiration for creating REVAMPED," Lovato, 31, reveals exclusively to We while talking about her A Very Demi Holiday Special. ("Heart Attack" was first released in 2013, inspired by the intense feelings that come with falling in love.)
In September, Revamped was released, showcasing new rock versions of "Confident," "Sorry Not Sorry," "Cool for the Summer," "Give Your Heart a Break," and others. The inspiration for updating her hits came when Lovato realized that the pop tracks didn't align with her more punk-sounding songs from 2022's Holy Fvck as she was assembling a touring setlist. With Revamped now released, Lovato is currently focused on her next project.
"I am passionate about writing and being in the studio, and I am excited to share some of my recent work," she enthusiastically tells Us. "I am proud of all that I have accomplished, but the success of my album HOLY FVCK and the positive reception from my fans will always hold a special place in my heart."
Furthermore, Lovato is gearing up for her inaugural televised holiday special, appropriately named A Very Demi Holiday Special.
"I absolutely loved filming this special and creating joyful holiday memories with my friends," she shares with Us. "Holidays are all about uniting people through music, games, and laughter, and I aimed to capture that in the special."
In A Very Demi Holiday Special, Lovato will perform classic holiday tunes like "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree" and "Jingle Bell Rock," as well as her own original songs. The TV show will also showcase guest appearances from Lovato's famous friends, such as Paris Hilton, Hailey Bieber, and Trixie Mattel.

“Anticipate a ton of excitement and happiness. Paris and I are both dog aficionados, so we had a fantastic time creating meat cakes,” Lovato hints, highlighting that the canine illustration was her favorite aspect of the recording. “I was also extremely proud of my duet with JoJo. She is such a powerhouse and Trixie and [I] take on the Nutcracker classic.”
