Despite their ups and downs, Offset and Quavo have developed a strong bond, particularly after the loss of Takeoff. Offset, 31, expressed his affection for Quavo, 32, during an episode of The Breakfast Club hosted by Charlamagne Tha God and DJ Envy on Wednesday, October 11. "At the end of the day, he's my brother," Offset stated. "We're on good terms though. We recently spent time together in Paris."
Quavo and Offset, along with Takeoff, were part of the popular hip-hop group called Migos. Tragically, Takeoff, who happened to be Quavo's uncle, passed away in November 2022 at the age of 28. He was shot at a bowling alley in Houston while playing dice with Quavo.
In regards to their grieving process, Offset shared, "We have personal conversations about this matter, where we express our emotions. However, we prefer to keep these conversations private and not share them with the public. That's our approach." He further mentioned, "We still have our individual lives to live, but ultimately, there is love between us. Losing a brother is painful, and it has affected us deeply. We can't fully move forward without him."
Charlamagne Tha God joked that people want to see the pair “cry on Instagram” together which Offset quipped, “You’re not going to get that from me.”
Offset and Quavo graced the stage at the 2023 BET Awards, joining forces to deliver a long-awaited performance of their hit song "Bad and Boujee" in tribute to Takeoff.
"Do this for the family because this is bigger than just me," wrote the musicians as they shared behind-the-scenes photos of themselves at the June awards show on their respective Instagram posts.
Formed in 2008, the trio known as Migos debuted their first mixtape in 2011. Their accomplishments include two Grammy nominations for their hit song "Bad and Boujee" and their album Culture in 2018. Following the success of Culture, the group released subsequent albums in 2018 and 2021.

Four months prior to Takeoff's passing, the group disbanded, with Quavo suggesting that they were dedicating themselves to individual projects. Offset, who is Cardi B's spouse, pursued solo endeavors while Quavo and Takeoff produced an album as a duo called Unc & Phew.
Although Quavo and Offset have not collaborated in recent years, the "Clout" rapper implied that he would be open to reuniting with Quavo in the recording studio in the future.
Offset acknowledged his collaboration with Quavo, stating, "I believe so." He emphasized the importance for him of establishing his presence in the industry and managing his own business ventures. As a responsible adult with five children, he prioritizes providing for his family. Offset has a son named Jordan from his previous relationship with Justine Watson, a son named Kody from his relationship with Oriel Jamie, and a daughter named Kalea from his relationship with Shya L'Amour. Additionally, he welcomed his daughter Kulture with Cardi in July 2018 and his son Wave in September 2021.
