Cardi B and Offset's relationship has fans wondering after the couple unfollowed each other on Instagram.
"I'm tired of protecting peoples [sic] feelings...I GOTTA PUT MYSELF FIRST!" Cardi, 31, wrote on her Instagram Story on Monday, December 4, suggesting potential discord in her and Offset's marriage.
On Monday, Offset, also 31, shared a mysterious post of his own, which he later deleted from his Instagram Story. The rapper reposted a clip from the 1983 film Scarface featuring Al Pacino, in which Pacino's Tony Montana declares, “Hey, f–k you man! Who put this thing together? Me, that’s who. Who do I trust? Me.” We have reached out to Cardi and Offset’s representatives for comment.
The couple's posts were made a day after Cardi strutted down the runway in a blue faux fur coat and diamond necklace at the Balenciaga fall 2024 show in Los Angeles. She captioned pictures of her ensemble on Instagram with, "Yesterday was a dream! I had too much fun storming your runway! Thank you to @Balenciaga @Demnagram @johanfleury and the entire team, you all are always so amazing to work with! Thank you to my team @kollincarter_ @tokyostylez @erikalapearl @juanmarioortiz. DARE TO BE DIFFERENT ️."
Cardi and Offset have faced many challenges since getting married in 2017. They split in December 2018 after rumors of Offset's infidelity, with videos online suggesting he had been unfaithful. Cardi announced the breakup in an Instagram video, expressing that while they had grown apart, she would always have love for him as the father of their daughter. The couple also share a son, and Offset has children from previous relationships.

After their reconciliation, Cardi and Offset faced another difficult period in September 2020 when Cardi initiated divorce proceedings. However, a source close to the couple reassured Us that both Offset and Cardi remained committed to prioritizing their daughter Kulture during this challenging time. Cardi ultimately withdrew the divorce filing a month later.
Earlier this year, Cardi publicly confronted her husband after he accused her of cheating on him. "First and foremost, I want to make it clear that you can't blame me for things that you're guilty of yourself. Let's all sing along," she tweeted on June 26. "I can see it's easy for you to pin everything on me. Yes, indeed!"
She also suggested that Offset was "spiraling and overthinking," and expressed, "Come on now. I'm Cardi B. Sometimes people forget that. If I was giving myself to just anyone, it would be public knowledge. I'm not just anybody."

Offset, on the other hand, confessed to fabricating the cheating accusations while he was "really intoxicated" on tequila. "She may have a loud mouth, but I still love my wife," he stated during an episode of the "Way Up With Angela Yee" podcast on July 31.

Two months later, the couple appeared happy and smiling on the red carpet at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards in September. Offset later discussed how he repaired his relationship after the cheating scandal, emphasizing the importance of respecting his wife's position as a public figure during an appearance on the "Call Her Daddy" podcast in October.
“[I told myself to] stop being selfish,” he continued. “You’re married to this woman, be dedicated to this woman. And also, just like being more communicative about s–t.”
