Offset Shockingly Admits Fabricating Cheating Rumors About Cardi B While Under the Influence of Tequila

Offset recently made allegations that his wife, Cardi B, had been unfaithful to him. However, he has now recanted his claims, stating that his falsehoods were inspired by a wild night fueled by Casamigos tequila. During his appearance on the "Way Up With Angela Yee" podcast on July 31, the 31-year-old rapper admitted to being heavily intoxicated when he posted an Instagram Story in June.

"We were engaged in a back-and-forth disagreement, and during that time, I confidently said, 'Just watch this'," Offset shared about his social media post, while acknowledging the arguments he had with his wife. He also expressed affection for her despite her spirited nature, saying, "Although she can be outspoken, I deeply love my wife."

Offset, also known by his birth name Kiari Cephus, added that he didn't feel the need to provide further explanation since he had already removed the original post. "By deleting it, I believe it speaks for itself. Ultimately, outsiders aren't truly aware of the complete picture of our relationship," he told host Angela Yee.

Cardi, on her part, refuted her husband's allegations during a Twitter Spaces chat on June 26. "Firstly, let me state that you cannot accuse me of things that you are well aware you are guilty of," she expressed. "Sing along with me, everyone! And I notice it's convenient for you to blame everything on me. Yes, sweetheart!"

The rapper, who is a parent to daughter Kulture, aged 5, and son Wave, aged 22 months, with Offset, advised her followers to disregard the rumors of infidelity. "Listen. Do not pay attention to the words of that man from the countryside, y'all," she advised, asserting that Offset was currently "overthinking and imagining things" that never occurred.

Cardi wrapped up her post by delivering a direct message to Offset, urging him to cease his foolish behavior. "What on earth are you doing? Enough with the games. That's all I have to say because, honestly, let's get real."

This fake cheating controversy isn't the first instance where Cardi and Offset have experienced challenges in their relationship. In 2017, just a year after their marriage, the couple briefly separated following the emergence of videos suggesting Offset's involvement with other women. However, in early 2019, Cardi confirmed that she had patched things up with her spouse.

Cardi filed for divorce in September 2020, causing another separation between the pair. However, she later withdrew her petition two months later. Earlier this year, Cardi clarified that her decision to file for divorce was a result of her and Offset not being in agreement. In a January interview on The Jason Lee Show, she expressed that she wanted Offset to make changes, which he did, ultimately demonstrating his willingness to change for their relationship.
