Dean Bell, formerly known as Unglert, shared his thoughts on why Kaitlyn Bristowe unfollowed him on social media. According to Bell, he noticed that Bristowe unfollowed him on Instagram after the Golden Bachelor wedding. This led him to believe that she may not like him very much. On the "Suckers" podcast episode aired on Monday, March 4, Bell mentioned that he came across a post where he was tagged by Bristowe. When he clicked on her profile, he realized that she was no longer following him. In response, Bell decided to unfollow Bristowe as well.

Bell talked about Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist's wedding, where over 50 Bachelor and Bachelorette alums were present in January. Jared Haibon, Unglert's cohost, mentioned that he had a chat with Bristowe, 38, who spoke highly of Unglert. "I bet she really likes you," Haibon, 35, commented.

However, Unglert believes that Bristowe's compliments in February do not paint the whole picture.

"He mentioned that the story of partying late with friends had been shared with her, but he was certain she did not believe it. The next morning, he realized that she had unfollowed him, but he was not bothered because he had already muted her. Although he followed her out of obligation, he did not want to see her posts."

Unglert revealed that both he and his wife, Caelynn, have muted "so many people" on Instagram. As for Bristowe, she has not publicly explained why she decided to stop following Unglert.

"I've muted Nick [Viall] and Natalie [Joy]," Unglert shared. He also mentioned, "I'm pretty sure I have Ashley [Iaconetti, Jared's wife] muted too. It's not that I don't love these people, but sometimes Instagram prioritizes their content over others."

Unglert elaborated, "I mainly want to see travel-focused or photography inspiration on my feed. I use Instagram for inspiration, and a lot of people tend to post about their daily routines. Personally, I'm not interested in what coffee you had this morning or what you ordered for lunch."

Unglert doesn't follow Caelynn, 28, whom he married in September 2023, but he still keeps up with her content.

“I [see] your Stories more than most people,” he said to his wife, who pointed out that they have “never followed each other” on social media.

Caelynn emphasized that she never sees content from Bachelor Nation on her feed.

She mentioned that the app developers frequently change things up. For a while, they focused on promoting smaller creators or non-creators, so their posts would appear first. Then, they switched it back to the original way. It's a constant back and forth.
