Crunchyroll secures the streaming rights for highly-anticipated Winter 2024 anime including Blue Exorcist season 3, Kingdom season 5, and more! Get ready for an epic lineup of new series coming to your screens soon

On January 3, 2024, Crunchyroll revealed its plans to stream the highly anticipated Blue Exorcist season 3, Kingdom season 5, and other popular anime series. This announcement came as a surprise after the initial release of Crunchyroll's Winter 2024 lineup, which did not include these series. The delay in announcing this news may have been due to competing companies vying for the rights to stream these beloved and widely popular anime series.

Blue Exorcist season 3, Kingdom season 5, and four other Winter 2024 series set to premiere on Crunchyroll

Crunchyroll has come out on top in the battle for streaming rights to Blue Exorcist season 3, Kingdom season 5, and four other anime series set to premiere in Winter 2024. The platform will debut all six series between Saturday, January 6, and Friday, January 12, 2024, with some already confirmed to have dubbed language options.

Crunchyroll has just secured the streaming rights for several exciting new anime series including Blue Exorcist season 3, Kingdom season 5, The Strongest Tank’s Labyrinth Raids, Mr. Villain’s Day Off, ‘Tis Time for “Torture,” Princess, and The Weakest Tamer Began a Journey to Pick Up Trash. At the time of writing, only two of these shows have confirmed alternative language dubs.

Blue Exorcist season 3, scheduled to debut on Saturday, January 6, will also feature English, German, and French dubs. The Weakest Tamer Began a Journey to Pick Up Trash, premiering on Friday, January 12, will be dubbed in English, Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, French, German, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.

The highly anticipated Kingdom season 5 will premiere on the platform on Saturday, January 6, along with The Strongest Tank’s Labyrinth Raids. On Sunday, January 7, viewers can look forward to the premieres of Mr. Villain’s Day Off and ‘Tis Time for “Torture,” Princess. As of now, none of these four series are slated to receive alternate language dubs.

Crunchyroll's Winter 2024 lineup was already impressive, but the addition of these six series is the cherry on top. Each of the titles also has a subtitled trailer available on Crunchyroll's official YouTube channel. Dubbed trailers for the series set to receive alternate language dubs will likely be released in the coming weeks and months of the Winter 2024 season.

Be sure to keep up with all anime, manga, film, and live-action news as 2024 progresses.

Editor's P/S

As a Gen Z netizen, I'm thrilled about Crunchyroll's Winter 2024 anime lineup, especially the addition of Blue Exorcist Season 3 and Kingdom Season 5. These series have a massive fan base, and the wait for new seasons has been excruciating. The fact that Crunchyroll managed to secure the streaming rights for these shows is a testament to its commitment to providing top-quality anime content to its users.

I'm also excited about the other anime series in the lineup, such as The Strongest Tank's Labyrinth Raids, Mr. Villain's Day Off, 'Tis Time for "Torture," Princess, and The Weakest Tamer Began a Journey to Pick Up Trash. These titles may not be as well-known as Blue Exorcist and Kingdom, but they have the potential to become just as popular. I appreciate Crunchyroll's efforts to diversify its offerings and introduce new and exciting anime series to its viewers.
