Crunchyroll announced a new preview video for the original anime Astro Note, revealing its release window of April 2024. The voice actors for the two main characters were also introduced in the video. The upcoming romantic comedy anime was announced by the Crunchyroll Industry panel at the Comic-Con Experience (CCXP) event in Sao Paolo, Brazil. The preview video for Astro Note starts with Takumi Miyasaki preparing and serving food in his apartment. He takes pride in preparing a complimentary breakfast for his fellow tenants. During his daily routine, he crosses paths with an exceptionally stunning landlady whom he holds in high regard. Miyasaki finds himself deeply infatuated with her and dreams of finding the courage to confess his love to her one day.
The aforementioned landlady, Mira Gotokuji, is introduced in the preview video. Known for her extreme politeness and love for Takumi Miyasaki's breakfast, she is a central character in the anime. The video includes a few b-roll scenes where Takumi expresses his interest in Mira. It ends with a question posed to the audience: did Takumi fall in love with a human or an alien? Additionally, the preview video announces that Astro Note will be making its debut in April 2024.

Astro Note will be available for streaming on Crunchyroll. It's important to mention that the streaming platform may not be accessible in all regions. Fans in Europe, North America, South America, Central America, Africa, the CIS, Oceania, and the Middle East will have access to the original anime.
The episodes will not be available for free. Fans will have to avail of Crunchyroll’s paid services to watch the latest stream once it airs.

Plot in brief
As of the current writing, the official team has revealed the cast members for the two main characters. Maaya Uchida will take on the role of Mira Gotokuji, known for her work as Rikka Takanashi in Love, Chunibyo, and Other Delusions and Hiyori Iki in Noragami. Saito Soma will portray Takumi Miyasaki, recognized for his performances as Aizetsu in Demon Slayer and Yamaguchi in Haikyuu!

Despite his skills, he accepts a position at a boarding house called Astro-sou. In this new role, he is responsible for cooking breakfast, although he appears to be disinterested in the task.

As a Gen Z fan, I am incredibly excited about the upcoming release of Astro Note on Crunchyroll in 2024. The preview video looks amazing, and I can't wait to see more of the characters and the story. I'm a big fan of romantic comedies, and this one looks like it's going to be a lot of fun.
I'm also really impressed by the voice cast. Maaya Uchida and Saito Soma are both incredibly talented actors, and I think they're going to bring the characters of Mira Gotokuji and Takumi Miyasaki to life in a really special way.
Overall, I think Astro Note has the potential to be a really great anime, and I can't wait to see more of it in the coming months. I'm definitely going to be keeping an eye out for more updates and trailers, and I'll be sure to watch it when it premieres on Crunchyroll in 2024.
