Sam Hunt and his wife, Hannah Lee Fowler, are officially a family of four.

On November 24, Hunt announced that he and his wife, Fowler, 38, had welcomed their second child, expressing gratitude to the Lord. The country star shared a family photo with their 18-month-old daughter, Lucy, and their new baby. Another photo on Instagram showed the family and friends enjoying a group horseback riding trip. The newborn's name and gender were not disclosed. This arrival follows the news seven months earlier that Fowler was pregnant with their second child.

Hunt and Fowler had their fair share of highs and lows in their relationship before their second child arrived. They met in 2008 and dated on and off for several years before ending things when Hunt relocated to Nashville.

Talking about the reason for their original breakup, Hunt told The New York Times in March 2020, "She thought, and I'm pretty sure I made her believe at some point, that she was my main priority. I would choose her over everything else." He continued, "But then the tables turned and I said, 'Actually, I want to prioritize [my career].'”

After breaking up, the singer of "Leave the Night On" later realized he couldn't move on from the nurse, leading to their reconciliation in 2016. "I had to choose between being with her or staying single," Hunt explained in a January 2017 interview with Nash Country Daily. "I knew she was meant to be in my life, and as soon as I realized that, I did everything I could to persuade her that we belonged together."

After Hunt released "Drinking Too Much," a song about his relationship with Fowler, we learned that he and Fowler got engaged in January 2017. Just three months later, the couple exchanged vows in a small ceremony in Hunt's hometown of Cedartown, Georgia. Then in July 2017, Hunt announced that he would be taking a break from music and social media to prioritize his marriage.

“I had pondered the question, you know, if push comes to shove, are you ready to step back? Let go of all this [for Fowler]?” he told The New York Times in March 2020. “I did agree to that.”

Sam Hunt and Hannah Lee Fowler's marriage ended in divorce in February 2022 after nearly five years. In court documents obtained at the time, Fowler accused Hunt of "inappropriate marital conduct" and "adultery." Fowler, who was pregnant with their first child, also requested to be the primary residential guardian of the baby.

In May 2022, it was confirmed by Us that Fowler requested the court to dismiss the divorce. An insider exclusively shared with Us that "The divorce has been called off and they are back together. Sam is working on rebuilding his relationship with Hannah. They’re both very focused on the baby’s arrival."
