The Ukoojisi Shrine in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, like other shrines in Hyrule's skies, comes with its own Shrine Quest. However, unlike most others, players cannot transport the crystal to its destination manually. Instead, Link must utilize Zonai devices to accomplish the task. Though the game provides players with the necessary tools to return the crystal, they must bring Fire Fruits or a similar item to burn vines and have some experience flying Zonai devices to successfully complete the quest.
Ukoojisi Shrine Location
Players can locate the Ukoojisi Shrine in the West Necluda Sky Archipelago, situated southeast of the Great Sky Island. One can access it from the tutorial island or by heading east from the Popla Foothills Skyview Tower's peak after launching oneself. If players choose the latter, they will come across a small island with a pre-assembled Fan Wing Glider that they can use to continue their journey towards the east. To find the Ukoojisi Shrine, players need to navigate to the coordinates 1468, -2168, 0585.
Ukoojisi Shrine Walkthrough
To trigger "The West Necluda Sky Crystal" Shrine Quest, players must interact with the Ukoojisi Shrine. This will lead them to a large island located northeast of the shrine. While gliding is technically possible with the help of a launcher, players won't be able to reach their destination and should instead use the Fan Wing Glider they arrived with or construct their own. For players lacking parts, a nearby Zonai Device Dispenser is available.
Players will need to burn away the vines that are obstructing the entrance using a Fire Fruit arrow or any other source of fire. The same needs to be done with the vines at the back of the newly accessible cave. After getting rid of the vines, they'll find the green crystal, which can be attached to the back of the Wing Glider. Attaching fans, batteries, and a control stick is also necessary before attempting the flight. It's advisable to save the game before taking off.
Once the flying machine is ready for departure, players must transport the crystal back to the entrance of the Ukoojisi Shrine. After landing, the crystal should be detached from the glider using Link's Ultrahand ability and wiggling the right analog stick. This will enable players to return the crystal to its original location. Upon completing this task, a short cutscene will commence, allowing Link to enter the shrine. Inside, he will find a Rauru's Blessing chest containing a Mighty Zonaite Shield and another Light of Blessing.
