The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom features floating sky islands that are home to numerous hidden shrines, each holding its own secrets. Unlike traditional puzzle-centric shrines, some of these require Link to retrieve a crystal from a challenging boss or complex area. The Ganos Shrine in particular follows this pattern, offering a formidable battle for players to overcome.
Ganos Shrine Location in TotK
Located high above Hyrule's surface, in the Tabantha Sky Archipelago above the Tabantha Frontier, players can discover the Ganos Shrine in Tears of the Kingdom. The shrine's exact coordinates are -3370, 0467, 1695.
In order to reach the Tabantha Sky Archipelago, players must first launch Link into the sky near the islands using either the Rospro Pass or Lindor's Brow Skyview Towers. However, as there is no direct route to the archipelago, players will need to make a pit stop on a nearby island to construct a flying machine that can provide enough lift to reach their destination. It is recommended to use anything that can generate a decent amount of lift for the machine.
With the Zora Armor obtained from Rospro Pass Skyview Tower, players can take advantage of its gliding ability to reach the waterfall and swim up to the North Tabantha Sky Archipelago. This location offers valuable resources necessary for constructing a flying machine, along with a ramp that can provide the extra lift needed for takeoff.
The Ganos shrine is located on a long floating island in the Tabantha Sky Archipelago surrounded by a field of low gravity.
Players will need to activate the Zonai terminal to begin the shrine quest "The Tabantha Sky Crystal" and begin the challenge.
Ganos Shrine Walkthrough
As with all shrine crystals, the goal of the challenge is to find and return the crystal to its rightful place by following a beam of light.

Though it can be difficult to see from the angle, the beam connecting the shrine to the crystal goes beneath the island to another below.
Players will come across the crystal attached to a potent Flux Construct as they descend towards the circular island. If they strike the crit spot of the luminous block, the construct will disintegrate, leading to the crystal's descent.
Though defeating the construct isn't strictly necessary, it's considerably easier to move the crystal without the threat of being crushed and highly recommended.
Players can easily transport the crystal back up to the higher island by taking control of the pre-assembled flying machine located on the small square area attached to the island.
In this particular region of the sky, the gravitational pull is weaker than usual, causing the fans to propel the flying device farther than anticipated. Even if the control of the vehicle is ceased, it will still maintain a portion of its speed and continue to travel in the same direction.
Positioning the vehicle above the island and keeping it steady with no lateral movement is the ideal approach. This will ensure that the vehicle drops straight down without any sideways momentum.
With the crystal safely on the ground, players can bring it to the shrine to complete the quest.
Players who successfully complete the challenge inside the Ganos Shrine will be rewarded with a diamond and a Light of Blessing from the statue, both of which can be found inside a chest. The game is now available for the Nintendo Switch.
